Chapter Text
-Alleyway, Queens, New York-
"Seriously, who in their right mind throws out a perfectly good monitor?" a voice muttered, almost incredulously.
The young man in question was digging through a garbage container like a pro. His spiky blonde hair was nearly neon yellow, his eyes a piercing shade of blue, and there were three whisker-like marks on each cheek, making him look like he had a permanent case of "I woke up late" syndrome. Oh, and if you looked close enough—right before he spoke—there were faint fangs poking out from behind his lips. Definitely not your average guy.
Standing at 5'7" and weighing a lean 147 pounds of muscle, Naruto Parker was built for speed, flexibility, and—well—kicking ass.
"Got it!" He pulled out the monitor with a victorious grin, leaping out of the trash like he had just jumped off the Empire State Building. Anyone who witnessed it would've done a double-take—because, let's face it, humans don't usually jump that high.
With the monitor slung under his arm, Naruto zipped through the alleyway, dodging trash cans, pizza boxes, and an occasional stray cat who looked like it was questioning his life choices.
-Queens, New York City-
Ah, New York—the concrete jungle, home to the Avengers, Earth's "mightiest" heroes. If you could call them that. "Real" heroes didn't wait until the world was dangling on the edge of disaster to swoop in like last-minute superheroes. Real heroes were the kind who showed up when someone dropped their grocery bags or when your Wi-Fi goes out for two hours. Heroes who'd help even if it was just picking up a dropped pencil.
Naruto reached his apartment and, with the ease of someone who'd done this a thousand times, scaled the building with little more than a spring in his step and a well-practiced leap. He landed softly and used his key to open the door.
"Mom!" he yelled, before freezing as he walked into the living room.
There, sitting on the couch, was none other than Tony Stark—the Iron Man himself.
Naruto's eyes darted to his mom, May Parker, sitting beside him. She looked at him with a warm, almost maternal smile, but there was something... different about her today. Maybe it was the presence of the billionaire genius in her living room.
Richard Parker's work had taken him to the farthest corners of the world, but nothing could have prepared him for what he found deep within the Amazon jungle—a boy, no older than five, lying unconscious in the middle of nowhere, clothed in strange fabric and speaking a language no one recognized. Richard had no idea where the child came from—only that there was something unexplainable about him, a sense that he had been pulled from somewhere far beyond their world.
What no one had known (even Naruto) was that Naruto had been torn from his universe through a violent cosmic rift, stripped of his chakra and the powerful beast once sealed inside him.
With danger closing in from those hunting him for his research, Richard had little choice. He left the boy—Naruto—in the care of his sister-in-law, May, while he and Mary fled with Peter aboard a doomed flight that never reached its destination.
May had never wanted children, never saw herself as the motherly type—but something in the boy's quiet strength chipped away at her walls.
She adopted him legally, giving him the Parker name, and over time, to her own surprise, grew to love him not just as a guardian, but as if he had always been hers.
In the quiet that followed the loss of Richard, Mary, and little Peter, May was hollowed out by grief she didn't know how to carry.
She had spent her life avoiding motherhood, content in her independence, but their deaths left a silence so heavy it nearly crushed her. It was Naruto—wild, stubborn, and loud—who filled that silence. At first, he was chaos incarnate: picking fights at school, mouthing off to teachers, always one bad day away from suspension.
He didn't understand this world, its rules or boundaries, and truthfully, May didn't understand him either. But somehow, they began to mend each other. She scolded him, he pushed back, and yet... they both stayed.
In time, she found herself laughing again—at his ridiculous antics, his impossible appetite, his refusal to be anything but himself.
What she didn't see was the quiet shift inside him after the powers came. Something changed. The fights grew fewer. He became calmer, more thoughtful. He still had that fire, that defiance, but there was control behind it now—a purpose.
She never asked what caused the change, and he never told her. But late at night, when she'd peek in to find him fast asleep, curled up under a blanket she once insisted wasn't for him, May would smile to herself, realizing somewhere along the way, that broken piece of her heart had started to heal—because of him.
Naruto blinked a few times, processing the situation. "Uhh, not to be that guy, but... why the hell is Tony Stark here?"
May shot him a sharp look. "Naruto, language!"
But Tony, ever the calm one, smiled and leaned back in his chair. "It's alright. Actually, I'm here for you."
"For me?" Naruto raised an eyebrow, completely caught off guard, eyeing his mother as she excused herself.
Tony leaned forward. "Yeah, you've caught my attention, kid. And no, not just because you've been using a stolen Stark Industries laptop to hack into my systems."
Naruto's eyes widened. Damn, guess that whole hacking Stark Industries thing wasn't the best idea after all.
"Why?" Naruto asked, a little skeptical.
Tony's gaze swept over the room like he was sizing up a new project. "I've been tracking you, kid. Some viral video popped up. You, stopping a car with your bare hands. Thought it was some amateur stunt—then I saw you take down that car. Pretty impressive for a guy your age."
Naruto scratched his head, clearly uncomfortable. "I just—uh—do what I have to, y'know? It's not like I'm out here trying to make a career out of it."
"I'm not trying to recruit you for your... uh, helpful street-level crime fighting," Tony said. "I'm here because you've got some serious power. And I need to see if you're up for a bigger game."
Naruto blinked, his confusion obvious. "Bigger game? Dude, I just found this monitor in the trash. And—wait, are you actually Tony Stark? Like, Iron Man? I'm about to try out some gaming on this thing, and you're talking about bigger games?"
Tony chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, that's cute and all, but let's move this to your room. We've got some things to talk about."
-Naruto's Bedroom, Queens-
When they entered Naruto's room, Tony's eyes scanned the modest space. There was a bunk bed, a desk littered with wires and old gaming equipment, and—of course—the outdated monitor that was clearly his latest treasure.
"So, your mom tells me you've got quite the reputation," Tony remarked, picking up a soccer ball and tossing it in the air. "You've been in trouble at school, pulling pranks, fighting... even spent some time in juvie. What's your deal?"
Naruto, not missing a beat, shrugged. "I don't start trouble. I just finish it." He raised an eyebrow, smirking at Tony's expression. "And no, I'm not some broken kid looking for a way out. But hey, I can still kick ass without powers."
Tony leaned in, his voice dropping to a more serious tone. "So you've got powers. Tell me about them."
Naruto scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed. "I, uh, got bitten by a weird spider. Then boom, super strength, agility, the works."
Tony raised an eyebrow. "The works, huh? I saw you catch a speeding car with your bare hands. That's... impressive, to say the least."
Naruto hesitated, then answered. "Yeah, I guess. But I didn't ask for this. Honestly, I just like helping out."
Tony eyed him for a moment, a spark of interest lighting up his gaze. "You're a smart kid, but you're also a bit of a wild card. I've got a situation, and I could use someone who knows how to think on their feet. What do you say? Ever considered joining the big leagues?"
Naruto's eyes narrowed, his expression unreadable. "The Avengers, huh?"
Tony smirked. "Yeah. But I gotta warn you—it's not all glitz and glamour. You ready for that?"
Before Naruto could respond, the door flew open, and Happy Hogan stepped in. "Time to go, kid. We've got a plane waiting."
-Private Plane, On The Way to Germany-
Tony and Naruto sat across from each other on the private jet, the hum of the engines the only sound between them for a moment. Tony had filled Naruto in on the details of the Avengers' current predicament—an all-out conflict with Captain America over the Sokovia Accords.
"Do you really think you can talk some sense into Rogers?" Naruto asked, leaning back in his seat. "Seems like that guy's got his mind made up."
Tony sighed. "Honestly? I've tried. Now, it looks like we'll have to settle things the old-fashioned way."
Naruto grinned, a glint in his eyes. "Good. I was hoping you'd say that."
-1 Hour Later, Airport Tarmac, Germany-
Suited up and crouched behind the bulk of a cargo plane, Naruto waited for the cue. His lenses narrowed as he listened to the tense conversation happening just out of view.
No matter what Tony said, it wasn't working. Captain America wasn't backing down.
"Alright, I've run out of patience!" Tony shouted. "UNDEROOS!"
Naruto grinned beneath his mask. Showtime.
He launched into the air, flipped once for flair, shot a web mid-flight, and yanked Cap's shield straight from his arm. Another web zipped out, pinning the Avenger's hands before Naruto landed perfectly in a classic superhero pose.
Cue dramatic silence.
Tony smirked. "Nice job."
"Thanks," Naruto said, casually spinning the shield. "Could've stuck the landing a bit better—first impressions and all that. Suit's a little tight in some places, if you catch my drift."
"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation," Tony deadpanned.
Naruto mock-saluted Captain America. "Big fan. I'm Spider-Man. And totally not too old for a redhead," he added, winking through his mask at Black Widow.
She raised an eyebrow, surprised—and mildly intrigued.
"You've been busy," Cap said, eyes on Tony.
"And you've been a total idiot," Tony snapped. "Dragging Clint into this, springing Wanda from a perfectly safe house—one she didn't even want to leave."
"I'm trying to protect her—"
Tony cut him off. "You did that when you signed up."
Then everything exploded into chaos.
Cap turned slightly, as if listening to something. A moment later, an arrow whistled through the air, slicing the webbing binding his hands. In a blink, he was free—and Naruto's senses screamed.
Too late.
A blur shot across his vision. Tiny man. Big momentum. Ant-Man dropkicked him in the jaw.
Naruto flew backward, landed hard, rolled, and popped back up with a groan. "Okay! So that's how we're doing this."
-INSIDE THE AIRPORT-
Naruto zeroed in on two figures—red wings and a metal arm—running into the terminal. He sprinted, launched into the air, and zipped a web to the ceiling. With practiced ease, he swung inside and skidded across the glass windows like a gecko in overdrive.
Tracking them from above, he leapt forward, flipped, and crashed through a pane feet first.
"Surprise!" he shouted mid-kick, slamming Falcon backward. Before he could follow up, a metal fist came swinging.
Naruto caught the punch from the Winter Soldier and grinned. "C'mon, man. I thought that arm would pack more of a punch."
Before he could deliver a witty finisher, Falcon recovered and snatched him up into the air. Naruto fought wildly, twisting free, and shot a web that launched him into a loop around the ceiling beams.
"You're under arrest!" he shouted at Falcon. "Come quietly and I promise to only mildly humiliate you."
Falcon responded with micro-missiles. Naruto flipped, dodged, and cartwheeled through a narrow pipe, weaving between steel girders like a flying acrobat. The chase was on.
A blur passed behind him—a steel door, thrown by Bucky.
"Seriously?!" Naruto shot a web, snagged the door mid-air, and flung it back. "Hey! Think you dropped this!"
Bucky dove out of the way just in time.
Naruto lunged—only for Falcon to swoop in from behind and kick him in the back.
The blonde spun midair, shot a web to the ceiling, and vaulted himself back into the fight. He hit a perfect backflip and blasted a shot directly at the panel on Falcon's wings.
Sparks burst.
Falcon spiraled into an electronic billboard, wings glitching. Before he could stand, Naruto webbed his arms to a railing.
Naruto perched on the side of a terminal screen. "Wings carbon fiber?"
Falcon grunted. "Do those webs come out of you?"
"Only when I'm excited." He paused. "Which I guess answers your question."
"You talk too much."
"The ones who don't talk," Naruto said, launching into another kick, "are the ones who lose."
Bucky charged in to help his teammate, only to catch a flying kick to the chest. Both men went crashing through a glass railing and hit the floor below.
Naruto followed, shooting webs to pin them both down. He crouched beside them, arms crossed.
"Well, this has been super fun, and a great cardio session. But I've got to make Mr. Stark proud, so... time to move on."
As he leapt away, a red drone swooped in and swatted him mid-air, sending him crashing through a window.
"You couldn't have done that sooner?" Bucky growled at Falcon.
Falcon glared. "I hate you."
-TOP OF SHIPPING CONTAINER-
Naruto rolled into a crouch, facing a new opponent—Captain America himself.
"You know," he said, catching his breath, "that thing does not obey the laws of physics at all."
Cap didn't smile. "Kid, there's a lot going on that you don't understand."
"Mr. Stark said you'd say that!" Naruto quipped before launching two webs.
Cap blocked with his shield, but Naruto used the momentum to fly in feet-first, colliding with the shield and skidding him back.
"I've always dreamt of this!" Naruto said, eyes gleaming as he launched a combo of punches and kicks. Cap ducked, blocked, parried. The man was fast.
"Not bad, kid," Cap grunted. "But not good enough."
He slammed his shield into Naruto's face. The blonde flipped back, landed on his hands, and bounced into the air. A web shot to the ground pulled him forward, and he cracked a hook into Cap's head.
"Good enough for ya?"
Cap gritted his teeth, then returned fire. A furious exchange of punches and counters followed—Naruto dodging a spin kick, Cap leaping over a sweep, both moving like dancers in a high-stakes performance.
Then Cap pulled a surprise twist, literally—spinning into a butterfly kick and smacking Naruto clean across the face with his shield.
Dazed, Naruto stumbled. Cap threw his shield again—this time not at the kid, but at the container's supports.
CRASH.
The entire container fell on top of Naruto—only to stop, mid-drop, held above his head with both arms straining.
Cap paused, impressed. "Didn't think you could hold that."
Naruto growled, muscles shaking. "Didn't think you'd try to drop it on me."
"Where you from?"
"Queens," Naruto said through gritted teeth.
Cap smirked. "Brooklyn."
He turned and ran.
Naruto hurled the container over his shoulder, ready to give chase—until he saw a giant man holding War Machine like a toy.
-FINAL ROUND-
Naruto swung into action. "Hey, Mr. Stark! Got an idea!"
"If you've got something to take him down, go for it!" Tony called out, barely dodging a giant hand.
Naruto landed on the big guy's leg, ran up like a squirrel on caffeine, jumped back, and zipped two webs—yanking himself onto the guy's face.
Standing on the massive helmet, he grinned. "Y'know, I don't think you come in small."
He dove off the head, swinging around the legs, wrapping them up like a spider burrito. He gave a thumbs-up.
Iron Man and War Machine slammed into Giant-Man's chest, toppling him.
Naruto cheered—until a massive flailing hand swatted him mid-air like a bug on a windshield.
-MOMENTS LATER-
Naruto groaned, covered in debris, only to feel someone shaking his shoulder.
"Kid, relax. It's me." Tony helped him up.
"Man... did we win?"
"You did great," Tony said, more serious now. "But you're done. Happy's taking you back to the hotel, then home."
"Wait—what? I thought I was here to help. I did help!" Naruto protested, wobbly on his feet. "You should've seen me. I was basically untouchable—until Cap touched me, anyway."
Tony sighed. "You're done."
He turned and walked off.
Naruto narrowed his eyes behind the mask. "Like hell I am..."
He stood up—and promptly dropped to one knee.
"...Alright. You win this round."
