This takes place after tpot 21, dead team has won! Now, it is up to the alive contestants to bring back the remaining 13 contestants back to life, (or in this case just everyone that is dead).
But, one contestant in particular is facing a problem, that can test in none other then Pen. Due to him literally being obliterated by Golf Ball's invention back in tpot 21, he is facing some problems.. when he is brought back to life from the HPRC, he feels.. weird. But why does he feel weird?
Other contestants like Liy, who had also just been brought back to life, face their own problems. Pen also isn't very happy when he hears one of his close friends, Bottle, was eliminated. He's also bummed that Tree was eliminated as well.
TLDR, this fanfic will focus on Pens struggles throughout tpot, especially since Eraser was eliminated, and what happened after he was brought back to life.

I recommend reading the first fic Beyond The Mirage first to get context for this fic.
After following the events in Los Angeles, Mirage and Noah’s relationship continue. They continue working on their flaws more so Mirage’s reluctance of asking for help and Noah learning how to be open and connect with people. They both work together in G.I.JOE occasionally being accompanied by Bumblebee, Acree, Wheel Jack, Optimus and other G.I.JOE members. They also have intimacy struggles. After a few missions that span across 9 years and many experiences, they both plan on getting married but face one issue, they both legally can’t get married due to a lot of reasons.
During this time, Optimus and Breanna find solace with each other and go to each other for comfort. Charlie and Bumblebee finally reunite but during all this time Arcee is struggling horribly, she misses her girlfriend and she doesn't know if Aileron is still alive.
Decepticons always like meddling and getting involved with anything so there's no time to stand around and wait

Four years ago, Ryou & Keiichiro saved a young girl, Kittelya. When they met, Kittelya was being raped by her stepfather. Shortly thereafter, Kittelya's mother took her & her siblings & moved far away.

Snape is still a character in the story, but Bellatrix takes on a lot of his roles/storyline in canon.
As for Hermione, in her first few years, she can't help but look up to her brilliant, yet complicated professor. As she gets older, by the time she realizes her feelings have evolved into something more...it's already too late to turn away, not that she'd even want to.
