Set during the 18 months between s4 and s5, everyone has too much time on their hands. Will struggles with his constant headaches and growing shame in certain feelings that won't go away, until he meets someone who provides the perfect distraction. Being around Mike constantly makes it harder for Will to get over his feelings, in an attempt to get over him Will starts dating the only other known gay guy at school. Mike gets really jealous and possessive and acts like a complete idiot, the two struggle to navigate the way things are going and Will starts having visions and headaches all the time that turn Mike's protector mode on. It's like the universe is constantly pushing them closer and closer and they can't avoid it.

Hunter Wittebane is a top student at NYU Stern Business school in the 90s — academically that is. Unfortunately, past trauma and social anxiety has kept him from succeeding in a way that his uncle — a mogul in the Christian Music Industry— finds acceptable.

At night she’s the singer/bassist for the underground punk band The Emeralds.
When Hunter messes up the last of many disastrous interviews for a summer internship, he stumbles into The Owl House, a famous East Village rock club, rained on and desperate to find a payphone.
What he discovers is the key to his past, present and future.

Wren wandered around the empty street in a daze, hand pressed against a wound in his side and gun held loosely in his other hand. He was bleeding heavily, and his wings, no, wing dragged over the pavement, catching several sharp objects between the dark feathers. As the adrenaline seeped out of his system, agony laced itself up his back and side and.. well really just all of him. He wasn't sure where he was when he collapsed, but somehow his boss had found him, his eyes were just fluttering shut when that beautiful, utterly stressed out face lifted his chin, talking too rapidly for Wren to understand.

Mike didn’t reply, couldn’t, and squeezed his eyes shut when he heard the door close. Something un-nameable was building in his throat, choking him.
