“Mission accomplished” Mike said with a slight sigh, “Sorry. Maybe one of these days, I’ll stop being quite so mentally fucked and then you can have a full night’s sleep again.”
Will looked at him pointedly.
“I don’t think I’ve had a full nights sleep since November 5th, 1983.” Will sighed. Mike felt his chest twist in knots for a second before he actually looked Will who was wearing a shit eating, pain in the ass grin on his stupid gorgeous, gorgeous face.
“William Byers!” a shocked Mike exclaimed, “That is not funny.”
“Well, maybe now you understand how we feel when you make jokes about the fact we almost lost you” Will retorted

But unbeknownst to everyone, Crystal was just a last minute crap-shoot. After a big fight with his parents, he took off for California, hoping to make it to Los Angeles.
