He trips over his feet rushing to get to the door, before freezing to glance at the tiny apartment. His sketchbooks are everywhere, his bed is unmade, and he hasn’t scooped Bowie’s litter box today. There isn’t time to do anything about it now.

The feeling of Mike being so close for no reason makes Will freeze like a block of ice. He can hardly concentrate on the start of the movie because all he can think about is how close they are right now. Alone. In that very basement where the two of them had some of their very best times ever together.
Will adjusts his sitting and moves his legs into a cross-legged position, pulling a blanket from the side over his knees.
“C-can I... can I also…?” Mike stutters as he looks at the wool blanket.
