Tango opens his mouth to protest this flawed logic, pauses, then shuts it. He rolls his eyes.
"Sure."
He can hear Jimmy sticking out his tongue even as he's turned away from him. Tango snickers underneath his breath.
The two of them start their walk along the winding mountain pass. It's not exactly a smooth path, as it is made up of broken asphalt and concrete, cracks where the mountain had split running along the path in many directions. The road it used to be was clearly made with buildings and infrastructure in mind, as it seemed to break off like there was another road to somewhere else, but all that remains is the vacant, thin air.
Mountain passes aren't usually built that high up, either. This probably used to be a proper land. Before the apocalypse.
Tango dismisses that train of thought before it gets too depressing.
