His parents are very busy people, so with no other option, Light is forced to accompany his sister to a hotel in the middle of a remote mountain in England. What Light didn't expect was that they would be locked in that house because of a snowstorm and that there would also be a murder. A murder that Light will have to investigate with the help of one of the hotel's tenants. The problem? Well, that guy doesn't seem to be very easy to predict.

There’s so much that Season 2 only briefly touches on — or doesn’t address at all. I can’t imagine the accident is never talked about. That Ophelia wouldn’t reach out again to her sister’s children after what happened. That no one tells Ruby about the crash. That James has just one therapy session and suddenly understands everything.
This is my attempt to take a different path starting from the accident.
