Sometimes, the mind is a harsh place to be.
Matthew Belford is unexpectedly thrusted unto a journey after trying to take a state-mandatory test. He is trapped in a dark place similar to a prison, where he must find an escape before something or someone keeps him locked inside the purgatory of his own making. On his journey, he finds others with their own mental struggles and objectives. In this place of surrealism, however, do you think they could be real, or perhaps figments of someone else's imagination? Matthew encounters monsters, whether man-made or of a supernatural variety, thirsting for an end to the madness.

In August 432 AC, Robin "Prez" Kuo passed out over Presidia in the backseat of a F-14 Tomcat fighter jet as the world crumbled at the seams around her. According to her hospital report, she had hit her head on the dashboard eight times in the course of the fighting, and suffered severe oxygen deprivation at high altitudes for a prolonged amount of time. She was lucky to be alive, let alone able to walk and talk normally. Four months later, after she was finally permitted to leave recovery in a cramped hospital, she had her whole life ahead of her.
Her boss now headed an entire department branch in the newly declared nation of "United Cascadia," she had supportive coworkers, she had so much money that she could live comfortably and send it back home to her family. She could probably hire a professional swimming league to do laps in a pool full of her bank statements! She had everything made in Cascadia! So what does she do now that she has control of her new life?
She boards the first flight out to Magadan.

or Omegaverse where instead of killing mangled Suguru at the end of JJK 0, Satoru hashes up a plan to take the curse user home instead, treats him, and makes a deal with the higher-ups to mate the omega and make a few heirs in exchange for Suguru no longer being executed.

Shane returns from the showers to find the locker room far more animated than when he left it. Everyone has their phones out, and when he sees Shane coming, JJ says, “Câlisse, Hollander, about fucking time! Ilya Rozanov got caught kissing a man.”
After the tuna melt debacle, but before Rose, Ilya makes the reckless decision to go to a gay bar to take his mind off of Shane. When photographs get published, Shane has a realization and devises a plan: he's going to ask Ilya Rozanov to marry him.
Ilya's going through enough without things he can't have being dangled in front of him. He needs to figure out a different way to avoid going home, a plan that doesn't involve Shane Hollander realizing what Ilya already knows: that Ilya isn't worth what Shane wants to do for him.
