He would rather walk twelve hours on foot back to Sendai, pee in a ditch, and sleep next to his grandpa’s grave. He would rather hitch a ride to somewhere foreign and learn a new language and change his name, anything other than staying here.
When Itadori Yuji's grandpa dies, he is forced to move to Tokyo with his brother and live with his uncle Sukuna, along with attending Jujutsu Tech High School as the newest student.
