Satoru was leaning against the counter in his usual, too casual way. His blue eyes held Suguru captive, as if Satoru already knew his best friend was holding everything back. He smoothed his white hair back with his signature black headband, rolled up his sleeves, and took the spot that Kento had left.
“So, you have spoon preferences now?” Satoru tried to insert himself seamlessly into the previous conversation.
