The next location Mega Man teleports to is in a navy blue cave-like area with light and baby blue crystal-platforms. “Woah, this place is slippery,” Mega Man says to himself, trying his best to balance himself in this new and strange area. As he marched forward, he faced a “Shotman,” a small robot that used a lever on itself to shoot out a ball through its own cannon, to which Mega Man took out. As he explored this area more, he spots a “life energy” orb, a small yellow orb that heals anyone who touches it, that sat on top of a platform which prompted him jump onto said platform, to touch it.
He went on, seeing more shotmen robots throughout the area, each both on the group and on various high platforms. After jumping on top of one, Mega Man looked down and leaped down from a large height, where he stopped a “Sniper Joe” robot, a robot that acted like a guard, piloting a giant lilac jumping mech. As this robot looked around, in search of any threat, he spots Mega Man, to which he states “Stop right there,” as he fired various energy shots from the mech. Mega Man dodged these shots as he took down the Sniper Joe and its mech with his own Mega Buster, which was on his right hand. Mega Man then leaped down from the platform defeating various shotmen on his way down. “Dr. Wily sure does pick interesting places for these robot masters, but I won’t let that distract me,” Mega Man says, turning his right forearm back to normal as he landed down on a platform.
Looking up, he spots a “Scworm,” a wiggly worm-like robot that shoots out of iron pipes. Mega Man then turned his left forearm into his Mega Buster as he leap down the platforms, taking out these scworms as he does so. After leaping down a platform, he spots another Sniper Joe that was piloting a jumping mech like before. He then took it out, before leaping from the platform to the ground to advance forward.
Mega Man then spots some more Sniper Joes piloting more mechs. One of them looked at Mega Man and said “He’s right there,” as they attempted to to shoot him down before being taken down by some energy bullets by Mega Man. Jumping from platform to platform, Mega Man spots a door with Dr Wily’s logo on it; the letters “Dr,” on the top left corner while a giant “W,” covers the background,” signifying that he’s near one of Wily’s “Robot Masters”. While Mega Man grew a determined look on his face, he looked up at the logo before looking back at the door. “Let’s do this,” said Mega Man as the entered the door, before traversing inside. As he landed, he spots a robot with yellow and blue armor with a humanoid face, a white arm cannon mounted on its right forearm, and grey biceps and legs.
As the robot turned around, he stated “Finally, you made it. It’s been starting to feel a little boring around here.” “What do you mean by that,” Mega Man responded “If you plan to do any harm, I advise you to stop it.” “I wouldn’t refer to myself as a harmful person, I’m more of a stylish trickster named ‘Flash Man’ , if you catch my drift,” said Flash Man as he posed in front of Mega Man, with his shining bald forehead glistening in the light. “Your tone of voice makes me think other-,” Mega Man said, turning his left forearm into his Mega Buster, noticing that Flash Man isn’t there anymore.
“Looking for me,” questioned Flash Man, as he stood behind Mega Man, sending a chilling vibe to the latter. “H-How did you do that,” said Mega Man, ready to point his Buster at Flash Man. All of a sudden, Flash Man disappeared from Mega Man’s back, appearing in front of Mega Man once more as the latter was mysteriously hit by energy projectiles similar to his own. Once again confused, he tried to hit Flash Man with more energy projectiles, which prompted him to taunt Mega Man.
“You really need get an upgrade because you’re too slow,” said Flash Man in a playful yet mocking tone. Then again, Mega Man was mysteriously hit by more energy bullets from behind his back, where he noticed that Flash Man was to the side of him. “Hmm,” thought Mega Man, “How can he teleport around and hit me without even moving?”
At that moment, Mega Man figured out what Flash Man was doing; he was pausing time to mess with Mega Man’s mind.
“No more games,” said Mega Man as he switched his weapon over to his Metal Blade, generating two buzzsaws into both of his hands as he threw them at Flash Man, attempting to hit him. Just then and there, Mega Man formulated a plan; he would try to trick Flash Man into appearing above him. He did exactly that, where after a couple of tries, Flash Man appeared right in front of him. “Prepare for some pa-“ said Flash Man before he was bisected by a Metal Blade by Mega Man.
Flash Man had been defeated, as he exploded into navy and yellow orbs that circulated Mega Man, which caused him to levitate in the air, increasing in speed as he got higher. Eventually, these orbs were absorbed by Mega Man, which gave him a new ability. As Mega Man landed, he received a video call by Dr. Light. “-Man. Mega Man, can you hear me,” said Dr. Light as he connected with Mega Man. “Yes, Dr. Light. I can see and hear you.” “You have received a new ability called ‘Time Stopper’ where everything around you will stop moving for a few seconds, allowing you to move freely without any consequences. I have also created a new ability for you to use from the parts you just bought for me,” said Dr. Light. “It is one of the three inventions I have been working on. I dubbed it ‘Item -3-‘ and it allows you to throw a small platform that’ll latch onto a wall and climb up walls, but be careful when using it, as it’ll be destroyed after a short amount of time. 6 more robot masters remain. Gods speed, Mega Man!” He than hanged up the video call as Mega Man tested out his new ability; while in time stop, he fired some shots from his Mega Buster, and they moved at the same velocity that they were shot at during time stop. "Alright," Mega Man said, as he looked up to the celling, before warping to his next location.
