Summary
Six months after the Winter War, Shinji returned to Karakura Town to check up on the youngest Visored of his group. With the war behind them and Aizen imprisoned for life, he is convinced Ichigo should be doing great with his friends and family by his side. That, however, cannot be farthest from the truth, and as the Visoreds peel back the layers, they find a path of destruction and loss that no one should have to face alone and they make a solemn vow: for every drop of blood Kurosaki Ichigo split during the war, he will be repaid.
