The Crescent - Adventure Log

Summary:

Bound together by a strange artifact, Arvus and Stella form a team to fulfill a promise they made with one another.

Chapter 1: Team Members

Chapter Text

The Crescent

Allegedly, Stella chose the team name. This team is made for Wayfarer ARPG on toyhou.se. This will be used to document written and drawn tasks and roleplays done with this team.

Alvus

Contrast Sobble | Lonely Nature | Genderfluid-nonbinary (they/any) | Highly persistent

Backstory

As a lone, young Pokemon, they resorted to petty theft to survive. They attempted to steal from a wealthy household in Firstbush Fields, but Alvus was caught. Taking pity on them for being so young, the master of the house took Alvus in as hired help. There, Alvus met Stella, House Elysia’s youngest child. As their duties involved maintaining Stella’s room, the two of them spent a lot of time together, becoming friends. They even agreed to a promise for Stella: that they would one day travel with her outside Firstbush Fields. However, Alvus had no plans to stick around. After working at House Elysia for several months, they quit their work but planned to make a return visit. Having become acquainted with the house layout, Alvus utilized it to their advantage in order to steal a rare artifact undetected. Alvus had overheard that this artifact, a metal disc, had the ability to bestow a Pokemon with unusual strengths. Alvus escaped to the nearest town, hoping to figure out how to use their pilfered goods. Their plans went awry, however, when they ran into Stella while in town. She latched onto Alvus, insisting they return to the house. Despite attempts to get rid of her, Stella’s will triumphed and they are now currently traveling partners. Alvus now hopes to extract information about the disc without Stella noticing her house’s stolen treasure!

Steline "Stella" Elysia

Inverse Snivy | Jolly Nature | Trans Female (she/her) | Often lost in thought

Backstory

Born into House Elysia, a small house that comes from a long line of shrine keepers. Her house’s duties involve maintaining a local shrine that is said to be Celebi’s connection with this world. Their family also oversees the farms in the local area, as it is believed that good harvests result from positive affinity with Celebi. However, as the youngest child, Stella is seldom involved in these responsibilities. Most of her parents’ attention was directed towards her two older siblings, the heir and the family prodigy. She was monitored by caretakers, expected to behave and speak in a manner befitting the Elysia family name, and not often allowed to go outside. Limited to primarily indoor activities to pass the time, Stella learned how to sew her own accessories. She also became an avid reader, finding her greatest interest in astronomy. Her accomplishments in sewing complex pieces and study of the moon cycles went largely unnoticed. When her family took in Alvus, she was ecstatic to talk to somebody her age. They listened to her ramble about her interests and shared stories about towns and places from outside of Firstbush Fields. Sometimes, she would request Alvus to bring her items from outside, from sewing materials to trinket curiosities. Connecting with Alvus gave her a taste of a life she had never known before, and she wanted to hold onto it. Stella asked Alvus to promise her that they would share a trip to one of the six regions in Harlour. To her confusion, Alvus disappeared from the house shortly after. When the house’s Lunar Disc was stolen, her family finally gave her a responsibility to supervise the crops in the nearest town while they investigated the theft. There, to her delight, Stella ran into Alvus, who seemed uninterested to see her. She leveraged their promise until Alvus agreed to travel together. Under the pretense of investigating the stolen artifact, Stella convinced her family to allow her to travel with Alvus.
