Summary
The Uchiha and Senju families have faithfully protected the borders for generations - and hated each other for just as long. Their mutual animosity has its uses, though, preventing them from becoming a thorn in the Emperor’s eye. By dint of distance and discipline, the three forces maintain a delicate balance of tolerance and submission.
But times change, and politics with them.
When his older brother is called to the capital, Senju Tobirama follows along, only to discover that he and his family now walk a blade’s edge. There are only two choices left - bow to the inevitable, or carve a bloody path forward into a new era. Tobirama, of course, chooses the latter.
And begins by scheming to get himself married off to Uchiha Madara.
