Merlin sighed.

 

Now Hades would do some checking and confirm Arthur's return.

 

Finally, after centuries, Merlin would have his best friend back.

 

The phone vibrated and Merlin took it, before chuckling when he saw the invitation to a discord server that Percy had forwarded to him.

 

Wasting no time, Merlin accepted the invitation, joining the group, enjoying himself as he read the different messages that had been sent.

Percy went to the roles channel, before bursting out laughing when he read the messages sent there.

While Leon explored the wonders of DM and muting channels, Merlin began to explore them.

 

He began by reading the introductions, discovering that ThunderGirl was actually Thalia, daughter of Zeus and lieutenant of Artemis, therefore an immortal Hunter (she had also asked Percy to add the role just for her, because she deserved that respect).

 

Then there were Nico, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Piper, Jason, Annabeth, Will, Clarisse, Chris, Travis, Connor, Dakota, Gwen, Drew, Tyson and others.

 

Then he moved onto the next section, laughing when he saw that the ads were called Arthur's announcements.

 

Apparently, Merlin read, Nico would have warned if Arthur had returned and when he was born.

 

Merlin looked up when he heard Leon enter. “These teenagers terrify me.”

 

Merlin burst out laughing. Then, becoming serious, he said. "Leon, he won't remember me."

 

"Who?" Leon asked.

 

"Arthur." Merlin replied. “He will have no idea who I am, who you are, who we are for each other."

 

Leon sighed. “He should return in the time of greatest need.” Leon shook his head. “He must remember you and there must be a way to regain his memories in case.”

 

Merlin nodded, smiling slightly at Leon, before the telephone buzzed. 

 

He read the message, then gasped.

 

Arthur is back . Nico had written. And he is not the only one.
