Sunshine child with demonic smile

Summary:

Izuku is a normal support course student with not so normal quirk. His quirk named “Fusion” allows him to connect with someone else. Which also results in improving the other's quirk. But Midoriya ended up in support labs.

But the world always somehow connects paths of resident hobo teacher and his problem child.

No literally, they connect together.

// Or how Izuku meets one of his favorite heroes and creates Shizu!

Notes:

Let's create another series! With inspiration from Steven Universe and our resident problem child.

I wanted to write this for a while so I'm pretty happy how this turns out. I hope you will like it and I will write something more!

Hope you enjoy this ♥️

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: All it took was a touch

Chapter Text

Aizawa has a pretty normal day. He wasn't dying without coffee, he wasn't just dying and his hell class didn't cause that much problems. Perfect day, don't you think?

So of course, it was suspicious.

After all, Shouta was Nedzu’s personal student during his school days. And probably because of that he is a little bit paranoid. But in a healthy way. Who knows who wants to stab you when you close your eyes? Shouta is just very much aware of this fact.

Yet, nothing happens.

He has done most of his classes. There were no suspicious looking people, any attacks or problems. Or even worse, energetic people. And the world wasn't burning. He was sure, he checked that second ago.

Perfect day-

CRASH

He said it too early, didn't he?

With a tired sigh, he stopped on his tracks and turned around to face the door to the gym. He quickly checked the time on the phone. Of course. It was time reserved for his problem children. If the gym burns again, he will just watch it (he won't).

In a matter of seconds, Aizawa, almost in a dramatic way, opens the front door. He was ready to see Bakugo and Todoroki beat each other down while the rest of the class cheered in the burning gym. Or even just the burning gym with everyone panicking. But honestly, he didn't see anything.

No seriously, when he opened the door he was blinded by a flash of light. But it wasn't even a flash grenade. Unfortunately, Aizawa’s eyes are pretty sensitive to light, so he needed to squeeze them. Damn it!

“What's going on?” even light couldn't stop him from being firm. He blinked a few times and finally opened his eyes.

He was welcomed by his problem children. Of course, there was Todoroki surrounded by ice spikes and a fried floor. Uraraka, Iida, Kirishima and Mina were standing a little further away from them, looking confused at the teacher. And in the middle of it scene, were obviously number one problem child Bakugo Katsuki-

And green haired brat he doesn't know.

This looks like a problem. And he doesn't need any more of them. He already has a full class of hellions! He doesn't need to take another one!

“Oh, Aizawa-sensei!” Mina beamed, waving with her hands.

“We were thinking that you already went home” added Uraraka, smiling sheepishly while placing a hand on the back of her neck (honestly, they weren't sure if sensei had any home besides UA. Maybe he is just sleeping under his desk the whole time?)

“There’s nothing to worry about, sensei! I was monitoring every exercise!” Iida nodded firmly, waving his hands robotically.

“That's right!”

Apart from those four, Todoroki just nodded, relaxing a little bit at his posture. Good that the kid is getting used to socializing. Aizawa really wanted to talk about it with him for a while now.

“Right, right. Can we go back to kicking icy-hots’ ass?” Bakugo sneered, tapping his foot impatiently.

“Kacchan, there's a teacher!”

Green haired teenager looked nervously at Aizawa, quickly turning his gaze to the gym floor. The hero’s eyebrow rose up. He didn't remember a student that looked like him in Vlad’s class. Or a student from general studies. He mostly didn't pay attention to any students but he would probably notice bright green hair.

“Aizawa-sensei you probably don't know Midobro, yet!” Kirishima, helpful like always, appears next to the green one, placing his hands on the boy's shoulders “Sensei this is Midoriya Izuku! He is Bakugo’s friend from the Support course!”

“He didn’t need your introduction, shitty hair!”

“That's not so manly of you-”

“JUST SHUT UP!”

“I also love you bro!”

Eraser rolled his eyes as the two of his students started to scream again. Mostly it was Bakugo. Kirishima just aggressively befriended him. Hm. How they are friends, Shouta still doesn't know. Probably in the same way, he and Hizashi are best friends and roommates.

“...Mr Eraserhead, sir?”

He blinked. Then he blinked again. Aizawa looked down, locking eyes with the green haired student - Midoriya if he recalls correctly from Kirishima’s introduction.

“Can I… Can I get an autograph?” Midoriya quickly took out a small notebook from his belt. He almost dropped it but quickly caught it at the last moment. He visibly tried to not look more nervous. But yeah, he wants to be good at hiding it “I’m just a big fan! I- I always respect your job! And your skills and… Basically everything, sir!”

…Yeah, definitely another problem child. In addition, Maijima’s problem child. It can't get any worse from here.

“Autograph?” Midoriya blinked at him, tightening his grip on the notebook.

“You really don't need to if you don't like to- I just… No, it's nothing! Sorry-” but before he could put it down, Aizawa took the notebook and opened it in the blank space. Who could he be, if he just flipped off support students? Besides, Maijima would probably grill him for it. Maybe he doesn't look like it, but the support course’s homeroom teacher has a soft spot for his students. And Shouta didn't really want to cross his mama bear line.

“Thank you, so much!” Izuku smiled brightly almost like a sun, when Shouta signed the page of his notebook “I wasn't expecting to even meet you, sir! I heard that you teach heroics but Kacchan didn't say who his homeroom teacher is…” he glared at his friends, who only rolled his eyes.

“You would just nerd that out.”

“You know I’m a fan!”

“And? I don't want to see you stalking my homeroom teacher. That's fucking creepy!”

“I wouldn't stalk…”

“Don't fucking lie to me, nerd.”

Yeah. That's even weirder. Maybe if Aizawa backs up to the vent above, students will forget about his existence? But of course not. Mina just suddenly jumped on the spot next to him, excited about something. Fuck his teacher career.

“Sensei, you won't believe what Midoriya's quirk is! It's soooo cool!”

“It really isn't that cool!” the called one, blushed slightly, hearing her words.

“I also can say it's pretty impressive.” added Iida to Midoriya’s embarrassment.

“Yeah!”

“No, no. Guys-”

“You should try it, sensei!” Uraraka looked at him with a wide smile.

“Oh Kami, yes!”

“It definitely will be so manly!”

But try what? His students were really excited about something and Shouta wasn't even aware of what they were talking about. He only noticed that the green child was really embarrassed about something, Bakugo was grinning and Todoroki was looking at him with his conspiracy sparkles in his eyes. No, no, no. Quick emergency plan.

He started to slowly back off. Yeah, no one will notice.

After a few minutes, he was already standing in front of Midoriya, sighting. It was too late to say no.

“If you don't want it I won't do anything, sir!” Midoriya’s smile waved, when he looked at the teacher. He wasn't really sure about this idea. Izuku never used it with any adult. Not even thinking about teachers! He didn't want to get expelled from the UA. No after this whole learning and meeting new people.

“I don't really have any way to say no, so just do it.” Aizawa grumbled, staring at the nervous kid. What are they supposed to do? He didn't know. But he hoped that he would get a nap and a cup of coffee after this.

“O-Okay… Don't need to be stressed… Just a few minutes.” he mumbles, taking few steps closer to Aizawa. He wasn't sure if the kid was talking to himself or to him. But then he just took his hands and Shouta only remembered the sudden flash of green and red.

Then it was just darkness.

You know the feeling of waking up from a long and warm sleep? That was his current feeling. With a quiet yawn, he slowly opened his eyes, rubbing eyes with his hand. Yeah, he was still tired. Maybe he should get back to the sleeping bag?

…But, the sleeping bag wasn't his.

No. The yellow sleeping bag belonged to Shouta. Not… Not him.

Who the ‘he’ was?

The living person blinked again and looked around. He was surrounded by his Aizawa’s students. He was staring at them, and they were doing the same. Each part waiting for something.

“Whoah- He looks so manly!” Kirishima smiled almost with stars in his eyes.

“Pff. Not that good as mine!” scoffed Bakugo, crossing his arms together. But he was glancing at him with corner of eye.

“Look at the hair! It looks so fluffy!” Uraraka stands next to the man, pointing at the black and green curly hair, flowing down to capture the weapon. She squeezed the air with her hands, as if stopping herself from touching his hair.

The man blinked at her, squeezing his hands. Nope. He isn't a people person. Uhhh- Why are Shouta and Izuku so socially awkward??

In the next second, he only heard a whoosh of air. Like a practiced move, he jumped to the side, landing in a crouching position. There was a spike of ice where he stood.

“Sensei!” Iida looked at him worriedly, then glanced at his friends “Todoroki, that was really reckless! You could hurt him!”

“I was just checking the reflex.”

“But why in such a bad way?!”

“Is there any other?” Shouto blinked at him, not even caring about his words.

“...Kami give me strength.”

He looked at his hands, still crouching on the floor. Whoah, he was really fast. He just did what his instincts were screaming, he dodge. Looking at his hands, he noticed a few scars. Moreover, his right hand was wrapped in the edge of capture weapon. Only in a red shade. He was also wearing Shouta's outfit. Except that around his waist was Izuku's red utility belt. It was pretty comfy for his liking…

With his green-red eyes, he noticed the capture weapon around his neck. He grabbed the fabric as if he subconsciously knew what he was supposed to do. The next moment he was on the other side of the gym, having tightened his hold on the material. He used the capture weapon without any difficulty, which he also liked very much. No wonder that Shouta likes it so much!

“That was so cool, sensei!” Mina laughter echoed through the gym.

But he wasn't their sensei… He kinda was, but not in the full way. He also wasn't a student and their friend. He was also but also wasn't. So who he was?

`Izuku Midoriya and Shouta Aizawa…` he thought, as he slowly slid off from the material and landed on the ground “...Shizu.”

The man looked up and blinked at the younger ones. Then he did one thing he could definitely do perfectly. Channeling his inner souls and grinned in a way only sunshine children or demons could smile.

“I’m Shizu.”
