Summary
After failing to obtain an apprenticeship with Lorroakan, Rolan falls back on a plan he’s secretly nursed for years: to vie for the favour of the cursed half-Drow queen, Phaere, and secure himself access to her incredible magical library.
How Cal and Lia feel about this plan is a problem he’ll deal with later. And as for the peculiarities of Queen Phaere’s court, and her taste for male submission? Rolan has a lot to learn… but he is certainly not averse to the subject.
