Ochako Uraraka has a secret
A secret that she had been keeping since her first day of college, when she realized that her scholarship wasn’t enough for her to live her life. Sure, it paid her tuition and her housing, but she needed to eat and get around, so she had to find a new way of income to make sure she got to live instead of survive
Getting a 9-5 daily job, or even a part-time was harder than she thought. She was laid off two weeks into her waitress gig, and the other two she had to quit because it was taking a toll on her studies, and she couldn’t lose her scholarship
It would be like losing her future
Her parents tried really hard to help her, bless their hearts, but even so, with a construction company that was constantly near bankruptcy, they couldn’t do a lot
Her answer came in the form of one of her best friends in the entire world
She met Mina on the first day of college. Even though they were from different majors, with Mina on the hero course and Ochako on the medical one, they hit it off when both of them got lost on the college’s campus looking for their dorms. Turns out their buildings were right next to each other and their schedules were similar enough for them to start a friendship, which later led to her friendship with Shouto
But that’s a story for later
Ochako had to admit that she wasn’t a people person, she considered herself an introvert. Also, with all the time she had to spend helping her parents at their job, she never managed to make many friends in her life, so finding a girlfriend on her first day of college was a nice change
But Mina’s personality sometimes could be a lot for her
The girl had no problems saying what was on her mind, or talking about whatever she wanted, no matter how taboo the topic might be. One of her earliest memories of Mina is her saying that when she becomes a hero she will chop off the dicks of all the rapists and pedophiles she finds

She gave him a price, accepting on the spot. He raised it to a point that was ridiculous for a few tutoring classes, but in the end, they agreed that he would pay her 10,000 yen per week, since he knew that he would need all the help she could give him
The price was still too high in her opinion, but it was the reason why she didn’t collapse on her feet every single day
So she wasn’t lying to her mother that she had gotten (some) money from Shouto, but she would rather die than tell her or dad how the money was actually being made
Thankfully she never had to come clean, so she did the next best thing

And she’s been doing it until now, her last year of college. Her bills still need to be paid, and it’s easy money. One of her worst fears is to get recognized on the street, but that never happened, so she thinks she’s safe
She’s just enjoying her life by attending all of her classes, hanging out with the few friends she has, and tutoring her best friend

Or Dabi, as he likes to be called when he had his hero suit on
She had never met him in her life, but she had found him one of the most attractive people she had ever seen in her entire life ever since he first appeared in his first Sports Festival, at the very same college she attends right now
That was seven years ago, which means he’s a fully grown man by now, at 26 years of age, while she’s only 21, just like Shouto
When she found out that Shouto was actually Todoroki Shouto and that his father was Endeavor and his oldest brother was fucking Dabi, she nearly lost her mind, but she did manage to keep it cool, because she didn’t want him to think that she was just another fangirl
But the fact is that she was, and she had to keep herself from melting every time he Shouto would tell a funny story from when they were kids
It was all so cute, and adorable, and she wants him so fucking badly
His white hair, his turquoise eyes that she could get herself lost into, and his hero suit that clung to his body like a dream were always in her mind as she went about her day-to-day life
But even if she had the chance to meet him in person, she knows that he wouldn’t even look in her direction, with her being younger than him and friends with even younger brother
Which is considered a certified ew to all the older brothers
So she just had to be content with her normal, boring life
