Summary
After that, Chuuya and Osamu have nothing to look for on board anymore. They take their leave and walk back to the plank, connecting the ship to the port. The dog follows them and before they descend, Chuuya kneels next to it and pets it under its chin.
Jealousy washes over him, completely unnecessarily and only after multiple complaints from Osamu, Chuuya rises with an eye roll.
Before Osamu follows him, he daggers his gaze at the dog with every ounce of hatred he holds.
The feeling he hates the most, is that he wants Chuuya to now scratch his scalp and talk to him in that pitched tone and reward him. He hates that he’s prepared to kneel in front of Chuuya with his tongue out and panting.
Chuuya’s figure blurs in front off him, while he tries to collect himself. The thought doesn’t even try to fade away, in fact the image just seems to keep on enhancing.
He gulps as he gets off the ship, but the idea has become unbearable.
