Lloyd enters the Monastery with his head dipped low, not wanting his major black eye to be seen by his brothers whom he knows very well would immediately question. Lloyd sighs, walking down the corridor to his room.
Just as he reaches for the door, his ears perk up from the light sound of footsteps approaching him.
"Greenie? Oh, there you are. How was the stroll?" Cole asks as he walks over to the younger. Lloyd shrugs and twists the door knob, opening his bedroom door. Just as he was about to step into his bedroom, Cole grabs his shoulders and turns him to look at him in the eye.
Lloyd adverts eye contact with his brother, not missing the way his brother's mouth fell ajar. "Where the heck did you get that?" He asks, crossing his arms. "I hit a pole on the way back, its nothing." Lloyd replies, lying right through his teeth.
Lloyd purses his lips upon seeing his brother's perplexed look. "You hit a pole?" Lloyd nods. "I find that incredibly hard to believe."
Cole grumbles, Lloyd closes his eyes and drags a hand down his face, wincing as he touches the skin around his eye. "Cole, please just drop it."
Cole, being the second oldest brother out of all of them, grabs Lloyd's forearm and begins dragging him towards the living room, Ignoring the youngers protests.
"Cole, please..." Lloyd says, his pleads being ignored by the raven as they walk down the corridor. "Kai knock some sense Into the Greenbean." Cole deadpans as he walks into the living room and pulls Lloyd infront of him.
Much to Cole's dismay, Kai was not in the living area. Lloyd almost releases a sigh of solace, until he heard Nya gasp as she Sees Lloyd's black eye and busted lip.
'Busted' thought the Blonde as Nya rushes over to him.
"What Happened?" She questions. Lloyd rolls his eyes and sighs. "I hit a wall and Cole's acting like its the end of the world." Lloyd replies, shrugging.
"You said it was a pole." Cole deadpans, making Lloyd still. "Where's Kai?" "Right here, why?" Kai Says, entering the Living room. His eyes widening as he sees Lloyd's face.
"Who did that to you?" He asks, demanding an explanation as he walks up to his Brother. "N- No, No, one did Kai, I'm fine." Lloyd protests as Kai grabs his chin and turns his head from left to right.
"My Sensors indicate that you are lying, Lloyd." Zane says, making himself known. "Geez, thanks Zane." The Master of energy says, sarcastically. "Hey, hey lower the sarcasm, Lloyd." Jay speaks up, his own eyes Inspecting Lloyd's face from afar.
Cole sighs as he removes Kai's hand off of Lloyd and grabs the Blonde's forearm, dragging him off to the medbay with Zane following behind them. Once they arrive, Cole Instructs Lloyd to sit on the cot while Zane ran off to grab the medkit.
"This is so unnecessary." Mumbles Lloyd's as he crosses his arms.
Zane returns and gently grabs Lloyd's chin as he looks at the busted Lip. Zane hums before turning to look at Cole, "Could you get some Ice in a bag?" Cole nods and pat's Lloyd's back before leaving the medbay.
The Master of Ice looks back at Lloyd and shakes his head. The younger looks at the wall as Zane grabs a wet wipe and dabs it to the injured lip. He hisses, making Zane pat his shoulder. "Do you want to explain to me what happened or Do you wish to continue lying?" Zane asks.
"...Two men saw me." Lloyd says reluctantly before closing his eyes and tilting his head down. "And than what happened?" Lloyd face turns red from embarrassment as he says. "They were messing with a Cat, so i stepped in." Zane's face softened as he lightly chuckled. "Only you would Get into a fight for a cat." Zane mumbles, making Lloyd deadpan at him. Zane ignores the face and softly lifts his head to continue dabbing the wip onto his lip.
"Kai's gonna call me reckless." "Kai only worries for you. Yes, Kai may have a bit of a temper... but he means well." Zane interjects. "I Know." Lloyd replys, hiding his face in between his knees.
"I've got the ice!" Cole exclaims as he enters the room, ice bag in hand, slipping out of his hold a moment later.
Lloyd rolls his eyes. Zane grabs some arnica cream and squeezes some onto his hand, gently rubbing it around Lloyd's eye.
After Zane finished he Sent Lloyd off to his room with a Ice pack for his lip and eye. Lloyd enters his room and switches on the lights... Kai apears infront of him. Lloyd flinches and steps back, dropping his Ice pack on the ground. "Oh shit..." He breathes out.
Kai looks visibly offended as he folds his arms over his chest.
"Oh, So not only are you lying about your injuries but also cursing now?" Kai questions. Lloyd places a hand on his chest. "I'm not gonna Even ask." He mumbles, walking past his brother and flopping on his bed.
Kai slightly chuckles, walking over to the mattress and sitting next to his Brother, stroking his hand through Lloyd's goldenn locks. "Heard what you told Zane."
Kai resists the urge to laugh as he glances at Lloyd's defeated frown. "Don't you have elemental powers?" Lloyd hums and closes his eyes before readjusting himself on Kai's lap. "I didn't want to scare off the Cat." Lloyd responses, Kai smiles and shakes his head as he hoists Lloyd up to sit on his lap, allowing the Blonde to rest his Head on the latter's shoulder.
"Typical, greenbean." Kai whispers, earning a small chuckle from the blonde. Lloyd wraps his arms around Kai's shoulders and smiles. "That's me."
