   Casey Jr. was acting odd.

   Not that you knew him all that well. Two months of distant interactions did not a close relationship make. The kid had come back from his Grand Tour (the continental United States and a brief stop in Niagara Falls, Canada to make it technically an international adventure) eight weeks ago, was introduced to Leo’s new friend seven weeks ago, took one look at you, made a face that communicated great internal, gastrointestinal distress, and promptly avoided you at any given opportunity.
