Three-Dimension-Scramble

Summary:

One day a sabertooth variant shows up claiming that him and Wade were husbands in his universe, but his Wade is dead and he wants a new one. And Logan IS NOT happy about it.

Notes:

So, this is based on a very old idea of mine. I did use Victor from X-men Orgins, but that's it. I'm super nervous about this right now, wow, lol. I don't know if anyone will like this or not, but I wanted to give it a try anyways.

Basically, all this is is two grumpy, angry, jealous, needy men crushing on Wade and fighting to get his attention. If it does any good, I'll write more. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Work Text:

Victor wasn't entirely certain what was going on anymore- much less where he was at. All he remembered was some freaks in orange and black suits stunning him and shoving him through a portal that lead to a smelly planet called 'The Void'. The most information that they revealed was a comment about making someone called 'Cassandra' happy.

The gist came when a bunch of other, taller, much harrier versions of him sniffed him out and tried killing him. They lost, of course, and apparently their blonde noggins lacked a healing factor. Sucks to be them.

Apparently all the Sabertooths had been fighting to see who the best one was- the one worthy enough to live alongside Cassandra and hopefully be lucky enough to be spared.

But Victor didn't care about this Cassandra, and he certainly wasn't going to be working 'underneath' anyone any time soon. He had already had a taste of higher-up garbage and all the bullshit they were capable of pulling. The loss he had been dealt was painful. And Victor didn't like to be in pain, at least not like that.

That's why when he learnt that there was a bunch- literally dozens- of Wade Wilsons here (aka: Deadpools), Victor was struck with vicious need, curiosity, desire and hope. There were Wades who were alive, who survived the experimentation and came out with their minds still intact.

And, considering the fact that there were so many of them, it meant that Victor had a chance of maintaining his lost relationship.

For the meantime he stayed discreet, quietly stalking the Deadpools and slowly learning more about them. They sure turned out a lot different than his Wade had, the only similarity being the personality and annoying chatter.

Eventually the Deadpools all went through a portal where they vowed to fight together to defeat one particular Deadpool and one particular Wolverine. Huh. So Jimmy was here too?

Secretly following after, Victor went through the portal and expertly hid amongst the terrified city. This must be a different time line too. The technology appeared too advance and unrecognizable.

In the distance on top of a large truck which he had taken a liking to, Victor watched the battle. And man, that Deadpool really was something. He fought alongside the Wolverine- Victor was totally gonna give him shit for the yellow onsie, by the way- and together they took down all of the other Deadpool assassins.

The part Victor didn't see was how they apparently saved all the branches.

After waiting several hours, TVA people came back and zapped all of the Deadpools back to their original branches. They must not have suspected Victor of anything for they walked right past him in their search for other stray universe dwellers.

And then it was all over.

Claiming the shiny, large, hiked up, 2023 Dodge Ram pickup as his own, Victor drove off in search of his desired partner. He knew Wade and Logan's scent better than anyone. Finding them would be a breeze.

...

A little more than a week later.

Wade was lounging around the apartment, bored and still holding- as Blind Al liked to call it- a petty dick in his mouth because Logan had decided to make a quick run to the store without allowing him to come with. Like, they were supposed to be a team. Come on now. So what if all Logan was buying was booze? Booze could be heavy!

Rolling around on the couch, moaning and groaning, Wade played with Mary Puppins while simultaneously being degraded by a blind, old lady. Gotta love the living.

The show on the TV barely interested him which is why Wade was so grateful to finally hear a knock at the door- albeit a weird, slow, kind of creepy knock, it still counted as a distraction which he totally needed right now.

After putting Al in charge of giving belly rubs to Mary, Wade jumped up and skipped to the door. Surely it wasn't Logan. Wade knew how Logan knocked, and honestly? He was surprised there wasn't a hole in the door yet. Maybe it was Peter?

Upon opening the door, Wade's eyes were met with a thick chest covered in a black button-up and trench coat. "Swim coach Morgan?" He randomly asked, shocked by the sheer size of the man as he tilted his head back and looked up at him.

The man in question had short, dark brown hair and long sideburns that were connected to a beard that was shaved at the chin. His eyes were a dark, ominous blue with an intensity inside that could make stone crack. His lips were straight and his expression curious.

For some reason, Wade got the chills, and while he didn't sense danger, he still stepped outside of the apartment and abruptly closed the door behind. "Uh, can I help you?" He asked.

Finally close up and face to face, Victor took in the Wade before him. He was practically the same aside from the lack of hair, and the body scars. His scent was a little off, but that was primarily to do with living conditions and such. He still had those same enticing, adorable brown eyes that Victor always loved getting lost in.

"You know who I am?" Victor asked, wanting to gain as much information as possible.

Wade's lips thinned in a moment of silence, "Well... I don't see any pizza delivery bags, so?"

"Names Victor. Victor Creed," Victor stated.

Even his voice was chilling; deep, sunken and calm. And he was straight to the point, too. Wade had to admit to himself, the guy was a ten. A 'massive' ten. He was already picturing what he looked like naked.

"Right," Wade nodded once, still a bit lost in his lewd thoughts, "Right, 'Victor'. Yeah, Victor. I-I know a few Victors but they're no where near as dark or as foreboding as you are, an-and one of them is actually a woman if you can believe it. A woman named Victor. Crazy right? If my parents did me that dirty, I'd call the IRS."

"Still the same ol' annoying jackass, I see," Victor tilted his head a bit, trying to figure out whether or not Wade was telling the truth. It didn't really seem like he was lying, and he could understand if the only Sabertooth he knew was one of those hairy, blonde versions.

Wade was so confused right now, "I'm sorry... Do 'you' know 'me'? Because I feel like there's some kind of weird tension going on here- I can tell because my stomach hurts and I tend to get gasy when that happens. Was it during an acid trip? Because my brain gets super dysfunctional when I hallucinate hello kitty and bugs bunny having a baby elmo together."

Definitely the same personality, Victor concluded. "I do. 'Cause in another universe, you and I are husbands."

Wade blinked.

That's really all he could do was just... Blink. Not in a hundred years had he been expecting to hear that kind of news. Him and this guy were husbands in a different universe?

"What?" Wade made sure to sound extra lost while asking.

"I think you heard me, Wade," Victor said.

Wade's eyes widened. The guy even knew his name. "Ok, why am I getting some kind of weird TVA vibes right now? Are you a variant? Are... Are you lost?"

"I guess you could say that," Victor mumbled. He grinned a small, malicious grin and took a step closer towards the merc, "But I think I'm right where I need to be."

When Wade saw two very pointy, very sharp fangs sticking out from beneath Victor's upper lip, his heart jumped and his mind raced. Oh, that's hot. That's, like, super hot. This guy was an utter beast. He sent thrills down Wade's spine, but he needed to regain his composure. There was still a lot he had yet to learn.

"I really hate to be the boner-crusher here, but won't the me you're married to be a little bit-erm... 'upset'? About you being here?" Wade kinked his hairless brows pointedly.

Victor's malicious smile faded slightly. If one wasn't sharp enough, they would miss how his shoulders slumped and how his eyes temporarily averted. "He can't be upset. He's dead."

"I'm dead? O-or I-I mean me-I-him-Jesus... 'he'," Wade roughly cleared his throat and patted his chest, "'He's' dead?"

Victor didn't directly answer the question. Instead, he took yet another step closer and lifted his finger out, gently going to stroke a knuckle across Wade's exposed collar, "Ya get these from Stryker?"

Wade had to think of Mary Puppins stuck in a hot car to help prevent his pants from becoming any tighter. Holy shit, the effect this guy had on him... He fought against shuddering and politely went to push the wonderfully welcomed finger away.

"Are you referring to my Freddy Krueger syndrome? If so, then no. No, I got this from a manipulative scumbag, bald jackass called 'Francis'."

Maybe that was the difference, Victor wondered. "Cancer?" He asked.

Wade's entire face seemed to go blank for a second. That entire experience wasn't something he liked to talk about- much less think about. Not even Vanessa had known the full truth. But, the thought of someone unrelated somehow knowing about it? And possibly even understanding?

Wade wasn't quite sure how he felt about it, so he let out a quiet, "Yeah."

This guy was his husband in another universe. And with the way he was talking, his Wade had gotten cancer and was put through a similar situation. The Wade of this universe hadn't been married yet when his cancer hit, and he made the tough decision of running away from his relationship. The Wade in Victor's world was dead.

And Wade kind of wanted to know why. Why was he dead? And did Victor stick by his side the entire time?

"What the fucks going on here?" Asked a rugged, all too familiar, angry voice.

The ultimate security hit Wade as he turned in the direction of the stairs, "Peanut. You're back!"

"Yeah," Logan, with two bags filled with liquor bottles in his hand, began marching up to the stranger lurking in front of their door, "You mind tellin' me what the fucks going on here already?"

He wasn't very happy with how close that guy had gotten to his friend. Nor did he like the fact that he was so big and handsome looking. And he certainly didn't like Wade talking to him.

"Jimmy," Victor greeted with mock joy, "Long time no see."

Logan halted in his tracks, his teeth grinding together tightly. He hadn't been called that name since... "Who the fuck are you?"

"Wait, your names 'Jimmy'?"

"What, you don't remember?" Victor lazily walked out into the hall, his arms lifting out in self presentation, "It's me, Victor... Your big brother."

"Say-what-is-the-who-now?" Wade babbled loudly.

Logan half glared and half cringed, his canines exposed as he growled lowly. He knew what his brother looked like and it sure wasn't anything like this, and to top that, "My brother is dead. An' you ain't nothin' close to the shit he looked like."

"Aw, is that a compliment?" Victor teased.

Logan dropped his bottles out of pure rage and concern. This guy was pissing him off. He didn't like him. He wanted him gone.

"Eh, eh, eh, let me explain," Wade quickly stood between the two of them, "Gosh, you always resort to rearranging peoples organs- and definitely not in the fun way. I would know."

"You got five seconds," Logan growled dangerously.

"I only need four," Wade faced Logan and explained, "Apparently tall, dark and filled with fangs behind me is a variant from a different time-branch-thingy. I don't know how he got in our world or anything, but he's here and... And he says we were husbands."

"What?" Logan almost spat, he was so rattled right now. This guy was Wade's husband? WHAT?

"You heard him," Victor cocked his head arrogantly, "Where I'm from, he's my husband, and I plan on makin' him my husband 'here'."

"The fuck you ain't," Logan kicked his liquor bottles and stomped up to the larger mutant, "The only thing you're gonna fuckin' do is make your own ass disappear. That or, by God, I'll do it for ya."

"Where's this temper comin' from, Jimmy? Usually you're the one always tellin' me to calm down," Victor smirked, his back beginning to straighten.

"Um, excuse me? Fellas?" Wade tried to interfere.

"Well then the Jimmy you knew must'a been a little bitch, because me? I ain't afraid to fuck you up, brother or not," Logan aggressively explained, "Now, this is your last chance. Get the fuck outta here."

"There's no need to be so upset," Victor cooed mockingly, "After all... We've shared him before."

Clamping a hand on his mouth, Wade turned around, bent over and screamed into his palm.

Logan was beginning to see red. This guy was seconds away from being brutally eviscerated. "Well you can just fuck right the hell off, because 'this Wade'? This Wade is 'mine'. And I ain't sharin' him for a god damn second."

"What?" Wade stood up straight, his ears ringing with disbelief. Did Logan just say what he thought he said? Did that mean...

"That so?" Victor's grin turned challenging and tenacious as he grew all ten of his bone-marrow claws out.

Sensing that literal shit was about to hit the fan, Wade quickly went to stand in between the two, placing a hand on each of their chests. "Alright, listen," He glared and looked strictly between the two, "As of right now, I'm no one's husband. And, as ball-tickling fun as this whole thing has been, you're not gonna fight in front of x23, and you're not gonna lose your chance on getting your 'husband' back, ok? Are we clear?"

At the mention of x23, Logan looked over and saw her standing concerned by the stairs. Dammit. He didn't want her to see him behave like this.

Victor, despite always being up for a fight, wouldn't deny that this Wade was a little bit more dominant than his own had been. And while it was kind of exciting, it also meant that he had to be careful. After all, he was solely here to get his husband back. Fighting an angry version of his brother would only ruin his chances like Wade had said.

Slowly, both touch-starved Victor and Logan stepped away from Wade. Logan growled and glared down the taller mutant before looking his friend directly in the eyes, "Hurry an' say your goodbyes or I'll be pissed."

"On it, peanut," Wade waved him off and watched him all the way up until he retrieved his liquor and helped x23 into the apartment.

"Well..." Wade smiled dryly and looked up at the fanged mutant, "I certainly learned a lot today."

Victor didn't say anything for he was rather angry for a great number of reasons.

"Listen, you kind of came in at a bad time- And by bad I mean everything that just happened. I'm not entirely impressed. Logan- or Jimmy as you like to call him for some probably blood related reason- anyway... He's my friend, and I don't take kindly to people upsetting him- unless it's me of course. So, if you wanna talk to me in the future, then let's settle it over coffee or a petsmart run- Mary Puppins is running out of treats, so..."

Wade shook his head a bit and turned towards the door, "Nice meeting you. Hopefully the weather treats you well, and... Yeah. See ya later-"

"Wade," Victor suddenly said.

Wade turned around and engaged the earnest look on his face.

"This isn't over," Victor promised, "I will have you."

Sucking in a deep breath, Wade nodded and fought his hardest not to show how much that effected him. This whole situation was bizarre. First this guy showing up wanting to claim him as his husband, and then Logan gets all possessive and accidentally admits his hidden feelings for him. It was so bizarre. Wade needed time to process it all.

"Bye Victor."
