Chapter 55: Height Comparison

Summary:

Height comparisons of all the "human" characters of the fic.

Notes:

I've had this rough sketch of the Expendables and their heights in comparison to each other just as a sort of reference to myself whilst writing, and whilst looking through my various WIP folders I decided I'd polish it up a bit and share it with the rest of you all since I know its been a bit since the last chapter was posted!

Because I hate drawing humans in general, the Expendable's and their characteristics have been made intentionally vague, as I do not have plans for anything more in-depth about them beyond the basics, so any other details such as race/hair color/eye color/etc are all up to interpretation.

Yes, Zerum is that tall, she actually grew A LOT after experiments. A full 3 INCHES TALLER!!!!!!!

 

I am 5'1. All these motherfuckers are taller than I am.

Howdy y'all! AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's been a few months since the last chapter! I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been taking a bit of a break (and recovering from physical therapy, NOTHING SERIOUS, just borked my ulna nerve up in my arm and such. 'Tis the life of a chronic artist/writer), but this fic has still very much been buzzing in my mind.

Though another reason that I haven't written anything new is mostly because I've been lowkey biding my time, as those of you who are more aware of the goings on in the Pressure fandom space will know that the Urbanshade: Writing Devision (made up of Pressure's developers in charge of writing the game's lore/documents/dialogue) had opened their doors for fans to submit character related questions for the duration of October - November and thus provided a lot of new information about our favorite mutant fish shopkeeper, as well as other lore bits about various characters in the Pressure universe (such as the canon names of Sebastian's siblings), stuff that did not effect the official game/story but information tidbits that nonetheless were interesting, funny, and-- for some fans-- utterly voided carefully crafted headcannons and assumptions made about certain characters and their quirks.

So yeah, you might say that I was a bit anxious about moving forward for a time.... just in case somebody in the Writing Division deigned to drop an awesome bombshell that I would then be hellbent on scrambling to try and work into my fic somehow... because im just weird and obsessive like that I guess.

Which now thinking about it is rather silly of me, seeing as Little Helper has already long since evolved into Alternate Universe status. There isn't really much point in trying to adhere to anything CANON at this stage in the story!

Anyhooo, enough about that. As it doesn't really matter much now, since the Urbanshade: Writing Division has since closed its doors and hasn't been answering anymore questions. Something something some drama happened and it was decided that it was probably best to shut it down, because fans were being mean and acting hateful and interpreting resulting answers to questions in bad faith and such. Y'know, the usual piss!

So......... Yeah anyway, Uhhhh, where was I going with this.... Right so, I'm probably maybe gonna wait a bit till like Worth the Wait Update Part 2 comes out maybeeee??? Idk. We'll see how I feel.
