“You may come in Rosie” Elias scribbled through his remaining paperwork. The door opened revealing Rosie with a stack of wrinkled yellowed papers and a brown paper-back journal.
“These came for a” she cleared her throat “‘Jonah’ in the mail”
“I see” he took the mail “thank you” ,she left the door with a small click. The stack of papers upon further inspection were scribed in dark blue ink and the book barely held together at the spine with dark blood splattered on the cover along with the words “property of Minerva Usher” Elias or Jonah chuckled to themself “who’s the bitch now?” promptly tossing the book and papers into the nearby waste basket.
