Summary
Harry left Durmstrang behind just a few days before his graduation so he could attend the annual Summer Solstice ball, organised by the Minister for Magic Tom Riddle. Walburga Black, his great-aunt and guardian, wanted him to find someone so she could still see him married before dying. Harry had eyes for the Minister, but he was sure the Minister wouldn't even notice him until his belief was proved wrong by the Minister himself.

Tom couldn’t rip his eyes off of Heir Potter-Black, Harry, who he had seen for the first time earlier in the evening. Harry had been such a vision with his curly, black hair and bright green eyes. Tom couldn’t fathom how or why Lady and Lord Black had kept Harry hidden his whole life. He had been desperate with his loneliness, looking for a perfect partner for the Minister for Magic, but no one had been equal to him.

"Well, that's one way to wake up after a perfect night with you," Tom groaned, voice heavy from the sleep.
