Chapter Text

I wake up warm, too warm, and surrounded by people. I feel Aro's arm around me from behind, Caius is in front of me, his arm around my waist. Marcus is on my chest, holding me close. I feel comfortable and safe.

Marcus sits up, and I feel his hand gently touch my cheek.

“You’re awake, my dear. Did you sleep well?” Marcus asked me.

“Yes, thank you,” I said.

I tried to sit up, but Aro and Caius’s arms held me back. I sent a little pain their way. They immediately let go. I sat on the edge of the bed.

“I want you to be frank and sincere with me. If I decide to fully accept you, what will I be to you?”

The kings gathered around me.

“Lune, you are our soulmate,” the three kings said.

“Lune, you are my treasure,” Aro exclaimed.

“Lune, you are my life,” Marcus exclaimed.

“Lune, you are my moon,” Cais exclaimed.

I felt moved. I wanted to disbelieve them, but I sensed their sincerity. They took me in their arms.

Suddenly, I felt a crisis coming on.

“No one bites me. I’m not ready! Go away, I’m going to bleed a lot,” I said without hesitation.

I rushed to the bathroom. I vomited the excess blood from my mouth and orifices. I felt a hand on my back. I turned and saw Marcus.

“Your blood doesn’t attract me. Neither do my brothers, but they wanted to give you space.” He told me gently.

I felt relieved. None of my soulmates would suck my blood without my consent. Marcus helped me up from the bathroom and gave me a shower.

Leaving the bathroom, I headed towards Caius and Aro.

“You resisted my blood?” I said without hesitation.

“Your blood tempts us, it’s true, but we know you don’t want us to bite you. So we resisted,” Caius told me.

“My brothers held their breath this time. Next time will be difficult,” Marcus proclaimed.

“Thank you, my kings,” I said, resting on Marcus.

A caress on my hair woke me. I saw Aro at the edge of the bed; Caius and Marcus were nowhere to be seen.

“Aro, I can tell you the truth,” I said unequivocally.

“Of course,” Aro said.

“As you know, I can see your sister. Your sister told me she didn’t want to leave you, but that the Romans distorted the truth. And I believe her because I see her. And she forgives you for your actions.” I said, my voice thick with emotion.

A powerful cry echoed through Italy. I felt it deep in my gut.

“Didyme, I’m sorry, forgive me! I love you,” Aro said, filled with remorse.

“Find the one who gave me this information! I will punish him with death!” Aro proclaimed.

After the declarations of love from my soulmates, I inquire about my loved ones with the guards in the corridor.

"Bella will be transformed according to your wishes," a guard told me.

"Thank you. I can see her."

Bella came out of a room.

"Hello, Mom, how are you?" she said.

"I'm fine. Have you heard from your father?" I asked.

"Not since yesterday," Bella said.

"Charlie has been transformed. He's responding well. He'll be here soon. His transformation was quick and painless. A feat for our race," Dimitri proclaimed.

I feel relieved that Charlie is reacting well to the transformation.

I head towards the throne room. Bella follows me. We arrive at the throne room.

“Hello Lune and Bella,” Charlie greets us lovingly as he enters the room.

I rush towards him and hug him, along with Bella.

“Thank you for being with us, Charlie,” I say, shaking his hand.

“Wow, you look amazing, Daddy,” Bella says.

I see Athenodora in the distance approaching us. She stops next to Charlie.

“He doesn’t have a bloodlust, it’s incredible,” Athenodora says, astonished.

“Charlie is exceptional,” I say affectionately.

I sense jealousy from the blonde woman. I quickly reassure her.

“Don’t worry, I still love Charlie, but as a friend. He’s all yours! At least you won’t be eating fast food every day, you won’t get fat anymore.” I ended up teasing him.

“Lune!!!” Charlie shouted, embarrassed.

I start laughing, followed by Athenodora. My gaze falls on Alec, who is timidly approaching Bella. I see Bella blush. I raise an eyebrow at the sight. There's love in the air.

The kings move closer to me. Marcus puts his arm gently around my waist, Caius stands to my right, and Aro to my left. It seems Marcus is the clingiest. I see Didyme chuckling at my thoughts.

"He's very clingy, I can confirm. It's cute."

I sigh and accept my fate.

"What do we do with the Cullens?" asks Jane, who has moved to stand next to Alec.

This pulls me from my thoughts. I've almost forgotten about Alice and Jasper. I've forgotten about my brother.

"We don't do anything with them. My brother is Jasper, the god of war," I order.

"What?!" "My three soulmates exclaimed.

"Good morning, Volturi Kings, we need to talk!" Major growled, entering the room.
