Summary
Centuries ago people believed angels walked on Earth with them and even though Sam doesn't believe the myths, he's always been fascinated by them. After learning about angelic spells in his extra credit course, Sam buys one off of eBay. Waiting until he's home for Christmas break to cast it, just to get a feel for how they practiced spells back then. To be fair to Sam, how was he supposed to know the spell would work?
