Kit and Emilia have been only that for as long as they have lived. But in London, it is Christmas, and there is magic in the air, so they awake not in Westminster, but in the very heart of Westeros. And, just this once, the Gods grant mere mortals the chance to rewrite history.
But… in the sprawling chambers of Winterfell, Kit’s dreams are confusing.
He dreams of somewhere beyond the wall, farther North than even the Wildlings dared travel. He sees with Jon’s eyes, blood, so much blood. The ground is coated, sticky and blackened with it. A person cannot have bled this much and still live. But why is it that he hears Dany’s still beating heart, strong, and bold, and true? There can only be one reason. She lives. And Jon finds, this time, he would burn the world to ash if it is her command.
