Summary
Twenty years have passed since the events of the Island of the Slaughtered, and the survivors have more or less managed to cope with the Total Drama Massacre. Since then, the events have largely become a local urban legend and mostly forgotten. One of the survivors, Gwen, has a foster kid who, after settling in, volunteered to be a part of the upcoming reboot for Total Drama Island despite his age, requiring Gwen to return to the very island where her nightmares began. But this trip might prove to be a godsend: Gwen, and by extension, none of the survivors felt a sense of closure after what happened, and the ghosts themselves felt trapped, unsatisfied and unable to leave despite enacting their vengeance upon Chris McClean. Will Gwen and the survivors seek closure for their still-aching souls? Will the ghosts find peace for themselves so they can move on to the afterlife? What will happen when the aging killer who's still hiding on the island finds out his old victims have returned?
