Chapter 9
Back home
We were already on our way home the next day. We gave a brief farewell to Freezer, took all our things and went on our way. It took some time for us to get to the Solar System, but at least we didn't have to stop anywhere on the way.
As we were passing the Moon, we were hailed by the humans. They requested we land in the Moon Public Spaceport, and for John, Chuk and Red to report to the spaceport’s captain.
We complied. Chukspace landed in the spaceport and John, Chuk and Red left it.
They talked with the spaceport captain about everything that happened involving Chukspace. The captain was worried about our involvement in a battle against the Bohandi, as it could put a strain on human - Bohandi relations. However, he appreciated fostering good relations with the Bird - Shaped. He also requested that they immediately receive blueprints of Chukspace, for their use as basics for a new ship to be used by humans. Chuk warned that his current blueprints do not include all the modifications made by the Bird - Shaped. In fact, the only modifications they included were deflector shields, and only because he planned to add them from the beginning, but didn’t do that in time.
-They will do - said the captain and Chuk gave him a memory stick with these blueprints.
-I thought this ship was ready when we were leaving - Red said to Chuk., - And now you;re saying you didn't install the deflector shields…
-Well, it was ready for a space flight - Chuk said. - But not for space combat. Not completely, anyway.
They then returned to Chukspace and told us everything that happened.
-It’s good we will finally have some good ships - Nancy said.
-Yes, we could use some help - Bomb said.
-It will probably take a lot of time before anything comes out of it - Red said. - They must check all of this, adapt it to mass production… and to human use.
-And I think we should be going to Earth now - Susan said.
-Yes - Jonh said. - Take off. Set a course to Earth.
Chukspace took off from the Moon and flew toward Earth. We soon landed on our island and disembarked onto Earth.
The first thing we did upon return was go check out on the eggs and the sailboats. They all were all right, just as we left them.
-What are we going to do now? - Peggy said.
-We will go to the England now - Jonh said.
-I will send Bubles, Stella and the Blues with you - Red said. - There are things to do…
-Yes - Nancy said. - There are. Get the supplies and move on!
So we loaded the supplies onto the sailboats and I, Stella, the Blues, Swallows and Amazons boarded the two sailboats and began a journey to England.
