"I would prefer to be guided through other things." Etoiles said immediately, blunt enough that it shocked another laugh out of Phil as they approached the fire together.
"We'll see about that." Phil smirked, letting Etoiles' hand drop as he took his place on the opposite end of the fire, Etoiles' staring at Phil with such an intensity that it sent a shiver of anticipation through him. "Etoiles. By stepping into the fire you renounce all prior associations. You will be our pack, you will be Bolas. I welcome you."
Etoiles jumped, landing solidly in front of Phil with only a momentary grimace, but then he was looking at Phil again, every inch of him taut with obvious tension.
"Feels good, feels good..." He said, almost breathily, his hands twitching where they were resting at his side. "Can we fuck now?"
