Renew as a Crew - Release the Kraken

Summary:

The OFMD fandom was fighting tooth and nail to keep the show alive after the second season, and launched a lot of projects to call for attention. The first of these projects - while we still had hope the show could be renewed - was called Renew as a Crew, where a lot of artists all over the fandom created digital posters with this slogan. These posters were published in a Zine, and possibly also printed out to be distributed. (I don't remember the details there, we had so many projects going then.)

This poster was my contribution.

Since I had so many characters on my poster and a lot of things going on, I've also posted some closeups so it shows better.

Stede is hanging awkwardly on a rope ladder while painting the slogan in a flowery and elegant writing. Karl the bird is supervising and calling instructions up to Buttons, where he and Swede are struggling to keep the ladder steady so the captain won't fall off. Ed has stealthily climbed out through a cannon window and is hanging precariously over the water while painting his own slogan next to Stede's. Izzy is standing on deck right above Ed and is having a conniption about Blackbeard "risking his life" to help the "ponce" with his painting. He is yelling at Ed to climb back in and start behaving like Blackbeard again, and generally stop helping the twat. Izzy's angry yelling is aggravating everyone else on deck. Lucius and Roach are giving him the stink eye, while Jim is seriously about to throw a knife at him to make him shut up. Olu is looking worriedly at the knife, because he knows what Jim is capable of.
