   Summary

   Penelope was a Spartan princess before she was queen of Ithaca. She knows war and violence as well as any man, especially her husband. She presents her challenge but her patience grows thin watching the suitors fail pathetically at stringing Odysseus’s old bow. So she decides to take matters into her own hands.
