The examinee was presented with a broken clock, which she was able to repair mechanically with no apparent use of magic. The examinee was also presented with a broken astrolabe and well pump, which she was not able to repair. A clock keeper was asked to remove pieces from a clock. The examinee was able to identify the missing pieces from touching the clock alone, without inspecting its interior. The examinee was also unable to give technical names for the components of the clock, but could describe their shape and function.

The examinee was asked to produce specified emotions in the examiner and failed to do so. The examinee was told a series of stories designed to evoke various emotions, including anger, sadness, contentment, and excitement. The examinee appeared to manfest each target emotion, and the examiner was also overcome with that emotion with an intensity that did not seem to be her own. The examinee was not able to reliably answer such questions as "What am I feeling?" from the examiner, but when asked to focus on the examiner's emotions, seemed to manifest a similar emotional state.

The examinee did not appear to exhibit any control without verbal or gestured communication.

Additional Testing and Notes
The examinee was asked to create dust clouds and did so. The examinee exhibited fine motor control over the dust and was able to form pictures and land small amounts of dust on a thumbprint size target. The examinee was able to remove the dust from an object without touching it. The examinee was presented with several substances similar to dust and asked to move them. The examinee was successful in moving dirt, ash, peat, and sawdust. The examinee was unsuccessful in moving flour, ground ginger, wood shavings, and metal filings. The examinee was paritally successful in moving liquified mud, but exhibited significantly less precision than she had with dry dirt.
Conclusions
Academic Magic: Unlikely. Ambient magic: Likely dirt- or similar-based affinity.
