Summary
Alanya Fusaiyuki y Cortez is the last of her line, the only survivor of the ill-fated Pern expedition--or so she thought, until a chance encounter has her, and the Federated Sentient Planets, realizing the colony had in fact thrived during its two millennia of isolation.
