Summary
When Shikamaru and Temari’s engagement leads to discourse among the Suna elders and council members, discontent begins to brew in the Sand. Fearing a coup d’etat, Gaara sends an urgent message to Shikamaru, asking him to take Temari and run before a civil war breaks out. However, there’s more to this request than meets the eye and Shikamaru knows that saving Temari will also mean deserting the Hidden Leaf forever.
