The contract is legit.”
“No doubt about it.”.
Haibara and Loid have been going over the contract since this morning.
Yui cried. She couldn't believe Yukino would do something so low.
“Is there any way out of this?” Conan asked. Loid shook his head.
“I am afraid not.”
“Could you please all go? I want time alone.”
The three sighed deeply.
They left Yuigahama's house.
“Does Komachi even know it?”
Haibara shook her head.
“Hachiman just went home to pick up clothes.”
“We should at least tell her the truth,Kudo-kun.”
Conan knew Loid was right. Loid pressed the door bell. Komachi opened the door.
“Morning! What are you doing here so early?”
Komachi served them coffee.
“Coffee always smells the best.”
“Thanks Loid-san. We are a coffee household after all. What did you want to talk about ?”
Loid put his cup of coffee down.
“It's your brother.”
“He was acting crazy weird last night. He took some clothes and left!”
“He is under Yukino's contract.”
“He has a contract with Yukino-san? He said it was insurance!”
“He thought so too. Yukino told him that. But apparently the Yukinoshita family now owns your brother.”
Komachi was shocked.
“Wow, I thought slave contracts stopped being a thing in the 1900's.”
Conan chuckled.
“Your brother said the same thing.”
“Is that why Yui ran away last night?”
“Yukino forbids Hachiman to see Yuigahama ever again.” Haibara said.
“Plus she is kicked out of your Service Club.”
“Shouldn’t we call the police?”
Loid let out a sigh.
“Even if we did, they will say it's a perfect legal contract.”
“Isn’t there anything we can do?”
“We could make Yukinoshita so poor that she would need to sell your brother to make money.”
Loid and Conan stared at Haibara.
“What? I was clearly being sarcastic!”
“The Yukinoshita’s own a lot of diamonds,right?”
“I am not gonna steal diamonds.”
“Not you,Loid-san. Kaito Kid will.”
“Even if Kid steals those diamonds, they still have major shares in companies.”
“We just need to create a situation where they are forced to sell them.”
“I found something interesting.”
Komachi was excited. What is it?”
“The Yukinoshita's have shares in a medical company. The biggest shareholders are the Nakano's.”
Conan looked at his phone.
“They also have shares in a company led by the Shinomiya’s.”
“So what are you suggesting? That the Yukinoshita's sell their shares voluntarily?”
“No, we need to make sure the Nakano's and Shinomiya’s invest more in the company.”
“Haibara is right. Then the Yukinoshita's are left with less money. Combine that with the diamond theft and it will hurt them.”
“I am not gonna convince that scary man.” Komachi said.
“You mean the quins dad? I'd rather avoid that too.”
“If we can convince the daughters that would be ideal.”
“No objection from me,Loid-san. But who will convince them?”
Anya stormed inside the house with Raiha.
“We will do that,Komachi-nee!” Raiha said.
“I know you are cute, but no way you two can pull it off.”
Raiha smirked.
“I explained the situation to my brother and he is willing to help.”
“How do you even know about our plan?” “Bond had a vision!”
“Haibara and I will assemble a heist team.”
“Isn’t Kaito Kid enough?”
“Their security is surprisingly tight.”
“Onii-chan suggested we add as much kawaii as possible.”
“I will call Mahiru and Komi to help.”
“This will do.”
“You sure about that, Haibara?”
“Even if they aren't useful, they could be distractions.”
“Fine. The heist is a go.”
“How will you convince the Shinomiya’s?”
“We will need a believable team.”
“So businessmen?" Komachi asked.
“The most brutal business team ever.”
That night Haibara, Loid and Conan briefed the “team.”
“Kaito Kid?”
“Present,Great Detective.”
“Kazuma-san?”
“Here.”
“Jessie,James and Meowth?”
“Present!” they yelled.
“You sure a talking cat is a great idea?” Kaito asked.
“I checked my sources. They are great with machinery.” Haibara replied.
“We are Team Rocket's mechanical pride!” James yelled.
“Whatever, let's go!” Kazuma whispered.
“Good luck!” Conan said.
Kaito Kid launched a zipline. Everyone stepped on the line and moved closer to the Yukinoshita mansion.
“Tsk. The window is locked.
Meowth let out his claws.
“Nobody can make a goal in this window like I can.”
Meowth made a perfect round hole.
“Impressive,” Kid said.
“Shouldn’t we be worried about security camera's?”
“That Haibara hacked them for us.” Kazuma replied.
“Impressive kid at her age.”
“You have no idea.”
Everyone climbed inside the house.
They walked through the corridor. Kaito suddenly stopped.
“I hear someone coming!”
“Now it's time for my specialty! Everyone hold hands! Lurk!” Kazuma yelled.
Everyone but Meowth became invisible.
“Ghost moves have no effects on Normal types!” Jessie commented.
“Act like a cat!” Kaito whispered.
Kaguya saw Meowth.
“M-Meow!”
“Yukino must have left a window open. I will take it with me.”
Meowth was abducted by Kaguya.
“Lets keep going!” Kid whispered.
“W-What about Meowth?”
“Don't worry about him,James. Worst case scenario he can escape tomorrow.”
The crew continued until they found a safe.
“Can't we hack the security code?”
Kazuma shook his head.
“Haibara told me it changes every hour.”
James took out a machine.
“This is based on a Weezings acid. It can penetrate everything.”
“Won't it trigger the alarm?” Kazuma asked.
“The Great Detective showed me a trick to prevent that.”
Yukino, I found a kitty.”
“Must be a new species. Looks exotic.”
She looks super scary! Meowth thought.
Yukino petted Meowth.
“Maybe I can convince Mother to keep it to hunt mice.”
"I only eat pokefood and berries!”
“How is Hikigaya doing?”
“He looked asleep.”
“I can't believe he tried to escape! I had to lock him up with chains!”
Meowth gulped. He felt bad for that Hikigaya.
“That four-eyes is pretty smart.” Jessie commented.
“You have no idea.”
“Tsk. Silent alarm.” Kazuma whispered.
Kid opened a bag.
“How good are your acting skills?”
Yukino looked up from her phone.
“Silent alarm? I will call Kriss.”
Yukino pressed a button.
“Kriss,is everything ok?”
“Everything is great,Lady Yukinoshita. It was just a cat.”
“Probably the family of this poor fellow. I will ask the maintenance team to check if there is a hole somewhere tomorrow.”
“Good night,Lady Yukino.”
“That is a great skill!” James said.
“It's called Versatile Entertainer.”
“Did you prepare these masks?”
“I got this in advance. That girl took them out with some kind of drug.”
Kazuma gulped.
“Remind me to never get on her bad side.”
That night Meowth managed to escape Yukino's room. He decided to check out Hikigaya.
“Poor fella. I hope he can escape soon."
Meowth jumped out of the window.
“You can keep the reward. Sell them for all we care.” Haibara said.
“There you are,Meowth!” James yelled.
“That poor guy is tied up.”
“How did you take out those guards?” Kazuma wondered.
“You want me to demonstrate?”
Kazuma shook his head in fear.
“Phase one is complete. Phase two starts tomorrow.”
