They have a long weekend scheduled—one where none of them have to work and every possible measure has been put in place to prevent their being called in—and Emily is confused about why everyone seems to be acting like it's just a normal day but she's too excited to let it bother her.
"You'll never guess what I'm doing this weekend," she starts to say, but her huge grin falls when Reid and Morgan simultaneously round on her, shushing her in perfect unison while they alternate glaring at her and looking furtively around the room, as though to check that no one caught them doing something they shouldn't have.
"Last time we made a big deal about time off...," JJ says when Emily asks about it later, "well, let's just say it didn't go well and we are not going to tempt fate by reminding the universe about our long weekends," she says, and does the same sideways glances before changing the topic.
