Next Stop: Romance!

Summary:

An alphabetic list of relationship headcanons for the musical maestro of Starr Park's Ghost Metro.

Requested by Skrunkly_Screw on my Jae-Yong NSFW Alphabet

Notes:

If you couldn't tell (and I don't blame you, you can't really see me), I am not physically disabled. I don't know how life as a paraplegic person is like, so sorry if I mess some things up.

Work Text:

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

He's a little rough on the affection side of things, given that he doesn't talk to many people in the metro, since conductors don't really have access to main cabins during a trip.

Still, he takes a liking to you. When outside the train, he'll remain in his train-wheelchair, and will usually just talk to you about music while you sit with him on a bench by the tracks. He'll occasionally call you pet names in Italian as well. It's cute.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

You had missed your bus back home, and didn't feel like walking, so you decided to take the ghost metro. The eerie tunnels made you feel a little apprehensive, but a friendly kid named Gus showed you around a little, and eventually introduced you to Chuck once the train arrived.

Chuck was confused why someone would WILLINGLY ride his train, but he liked the idea of the company that matched his age (sorta).

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He's not a very touchy-feely person,

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He feels he can't really exist outside of work. He does know how to keep his train clean.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He would probably try to be as gentle as possible, making sure you didn't feel like it was your fault. After that, he'd probably throw himself into his music work hard for a few days.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He knows that his disability is a pain, one that would require a lot of time and patience. He would only marry if he knew the other person was dedicated and patient.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He tries to be careful around you more often than not. He knows that you aren't just some wandering soul in the metro, and wants to keep you safe.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He tolerates them. They're a little difficult because of his wheelchair, but he manages.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Once he gets comfortable enough to tell you more about music, he'll say that he loves how interested you are in his craft, and how you've stuck by him and a few other things. Then he'll get all blushy and admit that he's grown fond of you.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He knows that you have a life on the surface, so he doesn't try to intrude up in it.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

When he wants a kiss, he'll let you know. And by that, I mean he'll yank you down to his level by your shirt collar and smother you with them. As for himself, he likes cheek kisses.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Considering his most frequent visitors are a kid who loves the paranormal and a kid-like ghost, he's used to child-creating shenanigans.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

You usually text him in the morning, checking on him before his day of metro work starts.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Chilling at the train station, talking about your respective days.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He's a very closed-off person, but he will tell you snippets of his past while talking about his work or music.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Only if you break something of his or mess with his train will he snap.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He keeps track of where you tend to stop when you ride the metro, and will take you there sometimes on his usual route. He also knows all your favorite songs by heart, though he doesn't understand the appeal of most modern stuff.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Once, when he was feeling particularly down and worthless, you came by and reassured him that you didn't care about what he was or disability or anything like that. That you loved him just the same.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

There have been times when more malicious spirits try to mess with you. In cases like that, he will always step in and command them to leave you alone.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He would try his best to muster up enough courage to leave the station in order to go on dates with you. He'll ignore whatever stares folks give him, simply content to focus on you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He has some insecurities about his wheelchair, and that causes him to second guess much of what he's capable of.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He lives amongst ghosts, so I doubt he has much of a care for what living folks look like.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He always did enjoy the idea of romance, but he never thought someone like you would come into his life. Your visits to the station make his work and life worthwhile.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

There was one instance where he came into contact with Moe on one of his expeditions into the sewers. He took care of him until Grom came to find him. The two of them are now minor allies.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

 Uncleanliness.

Z = Zzz (What are their sleep habits?)

He usually sleeps in his wheelchair, in the conductor booth of the train. Our man has some serious back issues because of this.
