Chapter Text
As the Ferris wheel started spinning faster and faster, Lizzie, Maddie and I held onto the cart as much as we could. The wheel seemed to spin for what felt like ages. When the Ferris wheel finally came to a stop the three of us stumbled out of the cart. We slowly made our way towards the chef showdown where we saw Raven and Apple waiting. Turns out Lizzie, Maddie and I weren't the only ones affected by Kitty's tricks. Holly, Briar, Cedar and Cerise stumbled with us.
"Wait...wait we're- we're here" Holly stumbled over her words. Apple had a concerned expression on her face.
"Where have you all been?" She asked with a sweet tone.
"Well....someone broke the Fairest wheel" Briar said as her and I tried to suppress our urge to vomit. Everyone looked over at Kitty who was holding ice cream and cotton candy.
"We're looking at you Kitty" I said with an annoyed tone. Kitty rolled her eyes.
"Wow, hey, lighten up! Gotta admit, it was really funny" Kitty giggled as we continued to glare at her as she teleported towards us.
"Look, if you all can't take a little joke- ....Woah.." Kitty cut herself off mid sentence. We all looked in the direction she was staring.
"Alistair?" She questioned as she teleported down the stairs with a smile on her face. Maddie started laughing
"YAY! YAY! YAY!" Maddie exclaimed as she ran towards Alistair. Lizzie and I looked towards each other with smiles.
"I don't believe it!" Lizzie said excitedly as she grabbed my hand and ran towards Alistair. Kitty, Maddie and I jumped on top of Alistair and hugged him.
"Maddie! Kitty! Lizzie! Y/n!" Alistair said happily. Duchess walked up towards Alistair and tried to be all flirty with him.
"Who is this?" She said as she twirled her hair.
"Meet our good friend, Alistair Wonderland!" Maddie explained.
"None other than son of the famous Alice!" I finished. Everyone at Ever After seemed to gasp. It is pretty exciting seeing someone new.
"And is that..?" Lizzie asked with anticipation.
"Yup, it's Bunny" Alistair said with a smile as a white rabbit jumped out of his hands and transformed into our good friend Bunny Blanc.
"Bunny Blanc, daughter of the white rabbit" She introduced herself. Sparrow seemed surprisingly shocked at this.
"Woah! You're a girl! Sweet fairy fire!" Sparrow said as he walked up to Bunny. This seemed to really upset Alistair which made me giggle a bit. Alistair always seemed to have a thing for Bunny, though he'd never admit it.
"Dude! She's with me." Alistair says with an angry expression. He realizes what he said and tried to fix it.
"I mean....standing right here....with me" He says while him and Bunny have flustered looks on their faces.
"Oh Alistair, it's been such a long time since we saw each other last, in Wonderland" I said happily. Suddenly, Maddie interrupted.
"Wait a scoodle!" Maddie says with a confused look on her face.
"How did you two get here?!" Maddie asks confused. Suddenly, Headmaster Grimm appears.
"I'd like to know that myself! All the portals to Wonderland are sealed." He said sternly has he placed his hands on his hips.
"We found a way through!" Alistair says with hope.
"Impossible!" Headmaster Grimm exclaims angrily to be suddenly cut off by his brother, Giles Grimm.
"Well, except for that one, that was left open to let a little bit of wonder flow in from Wonderland." Giles explains. Headmaster Grimm clears his throat seeing as he made a bit of a fool of himself.
"Young man! I do not know what kind of trick you are trying to pull but you are not supposed to be in this world!" Alistair looked at Headmaster Grimm and crossed his arms as a smirk appeared on his face.
"I think you're gonna be a lot nicer to me...after I show you what I got in here.." He says as he reaches into his bag.
"Oh really? and what exactly is that?" Headmaster Grimm asks sounding unimpressed.
"JUST THE STORYBOOK OF LEGENDS!" Alistair exclaims as he pulls out a book that did seem to be the Storybook of Legends. Everyone gasped as we had all thought it had disappeared.
Everyone is loudly chattering and gossiping about the Storybook of Legends that Alistair brought.
"After all this time..the Storybook of Legends..just...shows up? I can't believe it!" Raven sounded, angry and confused all in one sentence. I guess it could do with the fact that she didn't want to sign it in the first place.
"Now everyone can sign!" Apple says excitedly. Honestly, I believe that Apple was being pretty selfish when it came to signing the book. The only reason she wanted Raven to sign was so she could get her happily ever after while Raven gets to hide away and is despised by the whole population.
"Oh thank you Alistair! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Apple said as she ran up to Alistair and hugged him. Bunny glared at Apple as she did so.
"Have the girls here never seen a boy before" Bunny said as she crossed her arms and pouted.
"Well Alistair my good man, today, you are the real hero" Daring said as he roughly patted Alistair on the back.
"But...what was the Storybook of Legends doing in Wonderland?" I asked curiously.
"Y/n, it doesn't matter what happened last chapter, it's back! and Alistair brought it to us!" I noticed Briar looked a bit guilty and was looking at the ground.
"You okay Briar?" I whispered
"Yeah....Thanks for asking though Y/n" She said with a sigh. Still, something seemed off with her.
Headmaster Grimm seemed to be going through the book and was angrily flipping through the pages.
"Yes. Yes. Yes....this would all be wonderful, EXCEPT this is NOT the Storybook of Legends!" He yells as he shuts the book with a thud. We all gasp and look at each other with confused and concerned looks on our faces...
