Chapter Text
Sky either wanted to cry, or wanted a hug from Sun when he saw the portal appear again. Just when they finished killing a camp of black-blooded monsters in Wild’s hyrule, and judging by the looks of everyone else.. The rest of the chain probably agreed.
“Awh man.. Already?? But we just GOT to wild’s hyrule!” Wind would complain, the sailor was probably tired of fighting these monsters as the youngest sat down on a nearby rock, sheathing his sword while Hyrule checked the others for wounds.
“Are there any wounds?” Warriors called out, glancing around as he sheathed his weapon moving to stand right by Legend. “None from what I can see, Captain!” Hyrule called out soon after, giving a thumbs up as he walked over to Wind to just sit beside him. “Then old man, what should we do first?”
“We should probably head into the portal, we can get more supplies in the next hyrule if we don’t end up close to a monster camp.” Time spoke out, making sure to do a quick head count before motioning the boys to follow, even if Legend and Wind grumbled
As the Chain entered the portal the color flickered to a soft green before suddenly.. The boys land in a pile, one by one on top of Sky who lets out a loud groan in pain from eight boys being dropped on top of him. “WHY! Urgh.. Can you guys.. PLEASE get off me?” Sky managed to groan out as he struggled, allowing everyone to scamper off him and look around the room as he got up with the help of Wild.
“Woah.. Where is this place? Whose hyrule is this because, I don’t think any of us has this type of stuff..” Twilight would softly murmur out as he carefully walked around, noticing Nine chairs with some type of name plates- One of them is in Twilight’s hyrulean saying ‘Twilight’.
Hyrule would walk up to his chair carefully checking it out before outright just sitting on it while the others explored, sighing softly as Legend sat beside him glaring at the suspicious black wall. “Hey guys! There’s chairs we can sit on, no doors so how about we sit down and see what’s the worst that can happen?” Legend called out while leaning back, almost ignoring Time’s scolding look as the old man nodded.
“Who would make chairs with our titles, I mean there’s only a few who know..” Warrior’s would softly murmur as he sat between Time and Wind, Twilight being sat right in between the old man and the Legend so it left Sky sitting right next to Hyrule, Four next to Wind and Wild right besides Four.
“Well, Heroes of Courage. I would say it was my doing, I’m sorry for ripping you all away from your journey hylia gave you all..” a soft warm voice rang out through the room, and suddenly the heroes weren’t able to get up as a green circle in the middle formed showing.. A young girl? With deep green hair put up into two buns with choppy bangs, that covered most of her forehead.
“Oh heroes, chosen by me, I have decided to give those who have fought under the curse of demise.. A break! I am Farore, the goddess of Courage.” The girl spun around doing a goofy pose as the green light dimmed down, sticking out her tongue as Wild stared confusedly at the goddess- before Legend let out a mocking laugh. “You? YOU?! You’re the goddess who made our triforce piece? I remember you from one of my journeys, you just- You just managed secrets!”
Farore would let out a soft airy laugh, which sounded so much like the Korok’s own laughter that it made Wilds head hurt a bit, the girl? Goddess would skip up to Legend and gently pat his shoulder “Sorry, legend. I wanted to help out more with Din and Nayru but they wouldn’t let me. I’m truly sorry, my dearest chosen one that we put you all through so much.” She gave him such a kind and gentle look that.. It had Legend back down as the goddess walked back to the center, glad that they all haven’t asked too many questions yet.
“Excuse me, my goddess..” there it goes. “But what do you mean ‘a break’? The black blooded monster’s will run rampant and-”
“Wind?!”
“What? I’m just- I’m just askin’ that’s all!”
“Yeah but you can’t just say ‘but’!”
“Oh shush Four-”
Farore raised a hand with a patient smile as the boys suddenly quieted down, before waving it so the black ‘wall’ came to life and showed the heroes a scene of each of their hyrules fields. “Do not worry, hero of Winds! I have already thought of this and asked someone to pause time for you all. So you will return to Wild’s hyrule, and nothing will have changed!” She clapped her hands and suddenly the screen went dark once more, her round green eyes narrowing slyly.
“..Don’t tell anyone, okay? Shh- We don’t want the other gods to find out.” The goddess let out a soft giggle before swaying and bouncing on the balls of her feet, spinning for a moment as she suddenly moved all their weapons away from their chairs to a weapons rack. “There, now boys you’re going to be watching some people or just Gods who have observed your journey’s, and decided to do something wtih it. Somegod made another universe where- well, you all meet up except in the MIDDLE of your journey’s! Isn’t it exciting??”
