The veteran raised an eyebrow. "So a fairy gifted him magic. What's the big deal?"
"A fairy at the least. More likely some kind of blessing from a God." Hyrule's eyes followed Tune as the kid lifted his tunic a bit to show off some scarring. "Maybe even more than one."
That was... a lot to take in. The whole chain had gotten some sort of gift or blessing, it came with the job. But there was a difference between the small thrum of a fairy's healing magic curing your wounds, and the volcanic outpour of a God's favor.
Mad cackling floated up from the war buddies. Fire light reflected off of Tune's snaggletooth grin. He looked, for all the world, like a regular kid.
Just how powerful was the little brat?
