The ninja woman turned around, her mouth full of sweets she had plundered from the snack pantry, looking more than a little happy. Her green eyes widened once she saw him, the corners of her full mouth curling upwards in happiness.
She chewed rapidly before swallowing it all. “Ninja Baseballer, I’m here!” She cheerfully pronounced before running towards him, using all the superhuman power of her body to give him a tackling hug that sent them sliding on the floor, laying Caelus on his back. “I emerged from the shadows of Pinecany to visit you in your ninja abode!”
