Work Text:
Mystery is acting a bit weird today. Early in the morning, he found himself biting his pillow, nearly choking at the feathers– then he kept chewing at the bone of a chicken wing during lunch, the other members of his group glanced at him with a weird look, watching him chew the bone until it became small, crushed pieces. Even at the event with Huntr/x, he kept nipping at the cap of his pen.
“Hey… are you alright?” Zoey asked at the backstage of their event area, as she noticed Mystery on the sofa, alone, nipping at a pen cap. She tried to ignore it during the event, but Mystery is perfect, dewy… and absolutely her type. Oh, and nipping at a pen cap like a toddler. He seems to be in pain, and as a… senior, she gotta put up a good example and help the newbies!
Mystery’s head turned in her direction at her voice, still nipping the cap. “...Wanna bite something.” He murmured, and Zoey couldn’t see his expression through his covered bangs. “Bite something? Hey, stop chewing that. What if you ate the plastic?” She said as she pulled the pen cap, now covered with his spit and teeth marks.
Bite something? Is it like one of his demon things? Negative impacts if they don’t consume souls?
“Then what should I bite?” Mystery asked, his teeth still itching, needing to bite something, anything. His gaze suddenly drops to her skin and lingers, the smooth skin like a blank canvas waiting for him to mark. He leaned closer, Zoey’s perfume and natural scent filled his nostrils as he inhaled, a temptation made just for him.
“Well, maybe–ah!” Zoey didn’t notice he leaned closer to her, and before she could turn her head, he bit down on her exposed shoulder. “Mystery?! What are you doing?!” She blushed, flustered, fingers hovering over the mark he just left on her skin. “Wanna bite something.” He echoed his earlier words, whined softly, and licked the mark because he thought he hurt her. “Need more…” He mumbled, teeth grazing her skin, wanting to bite, to ease the itch of his teeth, but forced himself to stay still because he didn't want to make her mad. His body trembled from the force of holding back, kissing her skin, swallowing hard that made his Adam’s apple bobbed.
“Y-you can’t just do that…” Zoey pulled back slightly, cheeks still flushed. “Bad Saja boy!” she scolded, but lacked aggression. Mystery pouted, now simply resting her chin at her collarbone, her tongue flickered out and licked her skin like a puppy. Zoey sighed, her hand reached to stroke his hair gently. “Fine… you are too cute to resist…just don’t bite too hard, okay?” Zoey surrendered, and she heard him groan softly at the permission.
Nearly immediately, Mystery nipped at her collarbone, resisting to bite down hard, as faint marks bloomed on her skin. “Ngh…” She groaned softly, fingers tugging at his lavender strands. “Mmh, mmf…” Mystery focuses on biting her, leaving love bites and spit across her neck, collarbone, and shoulders, panting from the urge to bite and mark and claim.
“Aah, Mystery… mmh…” Zoey gasped and moaned softly. The sounds she made sent a shiver down his spine. He groaned and nuzzled at her sternum, nose brushing the curve of her breasts. “Ah! Mystery, not any lower…” Zoey stopped him, skin pebbled from where he hovered. He whimpered softly but obeyed, pressing only soft kisses there as he trailed upwards, burying his face at the crook of her neck.
He only stops when the itch finally leaves, his chest heaving, pulling back to admire his work on her skin, a canvas he had painted, owned. “mmf… Zoey…” He murmured her name, kissing and licking the marks, smoothing the sting. His arms wrapped around her waist, keeping her close. Zoey patted his head, and he leaned towards it, nuzzling against his palm. “Now I have to find a jacket to cover up these marks…” Zoey mumbled, still stroking his hair even if she felt that drool from him sucking gently at her collarbone.
Mystery helped her clean up, putting makeup over the marks just as he was instructed to. “...Sorry,” He said softly, pouting as she saw the bruises and red marks. “It’s okay… You needed me, right? I am glad I helped.” She grinned, putting on a jacket that covered the marks on her shoulders. “Alright, ready to get back to the fan signing event? Let’s go!” She said with her energetic voice, walking to the door towards the event area.
“Zoey,” Mystery called for her, voice soft, as she turned– and he kissed the corner of her mouth. “Thanks, Zoey.” He murmured, before pulling back slightly, smiling like a puppy waiting for praise. Zoey paused for three solid seconds before exploding into a red tomato, steam appearing on top of her head. “Ah! W-what are you… Mystery! You can’t just do that as gratitude…!” She exclaimed, chest heaving, fingers pressing at the spot he just kissed.
Mystery just tilted his head, as if he didn't understand the impact he brought by the kiss. “Then how should I repay you?” He asked, an arm around her waist. “Wh-what I mean was…!” Zoey blushed again, and words disappeared when she saw a glimpse of his eyes behind his bangs. Soft like a puppy, but also intense, a hint of heat and obsession. “I mean… don’t do that to everyone as a thank you gift…” She didn’t know why she said that. As if she wanted to be treated special in his eyes.
Mystery’s eyes slightly widened before nodding. “Only to you, Zoey.” He smiled, proud of his understanding of his words. “That’s not–” She paused, sighed. “...Sure.” She smiled, still blushing.
And if one of the fans spotted the faint marks on her skin? Just another historical moment to add to the Zoeystery tag.
