Summary
Escape. That's all that Ashley had on her mind. Her boyfriend was abusive and controlling, keeping her locked up in his home, isolating her from her brothers. She lived her life in fear, worried that he would one day go too far. She wanted out and one day she finally had enough. She mustered up the courage and picked her opportunity.
One night, her boyfriend got drunk and passed out after taking out his anger on her. Once she knew that he was out cold, she grabbed two bags that she had packed weeks in advance and finally managed to get an Uber with what little money she had and paid for a ride to the arena, hoping that she'll be able to hitchhike with someone who was at the show. But things didn't work out as planned as security turned her away. She was losing hope as she managed to get into a limo, her hope for escape disappearing until a handsome stranger opened the door.
