The sound of a cell phone ringing it needed to be answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey Viktor! You coming over for dinner tonight, right? Just double-checking no important cybertronian matter has come up, as me and Jake were really excited to see you!”
“Haha, don’t worry, we’re totally on for tonight. You know we wouldn’t miss it!”
“By the way, where are you? Last time your location updated, it said you were in Iceland.”
“Well, you know how it is. We like to travel, but we gotta be careful how crowded the area is and if there's space for Star to hide in case we run into trouble.”
“Well, now that we’re traveling me and Jake were wondering since it’d be cheaper-”
“Girl, I gotchu. Granted, we have some limitations on where we can drop you off, but we will do everything we can to the best of our ability. Besides, Star is still trying to win over your approval.”
“It's not that he has my disapproval, but as your best friend, it's my job to give him a hard time. Can’t lower the standards set for him just because he’s some whimsical space robot.” This comment made Viktor laugh.
“Of course not. We’ll be on our way soon!” Viktor hung up the call the dialed a new number.
“Hey, it's time to head over to Jakies.”
“I’ll come pick you up then.” Shortly after that, Viktor heard the familiar sound of a jet flying over and landing nearby, followed by the sound made when the transformation from jet to bot was made.
“Ready to go?” Viktor was still getting used to seeing Starscream like this. Same voice and similar look, only far, far taller and sharper metal features.
“Yeah besides the sooner we get there, the sooner I get to tell her all about our recent trips. And you and Jake can bond over technology things.”
“Well then, let's get going.” Starscream held out his hand for Viktor to climb into. Viktor didn’t understand 100% how it worked, but when Starscream transformed, he was always safely seated inside.
This was how life was now. Travelling the world and occasionally visiting Jakie and Jake on their farm. Things were never better.
