Work Text:
Simon sat by Maddie and Nicole, eating the warm popcorn as a low quality horror movie played in the background, watching Xavier get a make over by Claire and Quinn.
Across the room, Wally and Rhonda argued about some random ass subject but stayed peaceful about it.
Charley and Yuri were curled up on a chair, watching the movie.
There were snacks everywhere in bowls and on plates, pillows and blankets strewn all over.
It was cozy and comfy.
They were all in pajamas and warm socks as the leaves fell outside the window, the crisp air blowing in slightly from the crack in the window that Simon's dad hadn't fixed yet,but luckily no one minded.
_____
Simon slowly opened his eyes, he had fallen asleep right when his head hit his pillow on his spot on the floor.
He looked up and saw the clock on the wall telling him it was about two in the morning and groaned, deeply annoyed.
He rubbed his eyes as he turned to his other side to find Xavier kneeling with a flashlight under his face.
“Simon!”
Xavier’s sudden presence caused Simon to sit up with a jolt, with a hand over his heart.
Simon stares at Xavier, eyes comically large.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!”
Xavier pouts, not because he was embarrassed that he was caught staring at Simon, but in disappointment.
“I was hoping we'd cuddle, but when I came back from the bathroom you were already asleep…”
“So you decided you'd just watch me sleep for hours?”
Simon asked, astonished by Xavier's thought process.
“I did. You looked pretty and peaceful plus it was only for 30 minutes!”
Simon ran his hands down his face and sighed,
‘how did I end up falling for this blue eyed weirdo?’
He thought as he watched Xavier who looked like a puppy that was kicked off the blankets.
Simon takes in the sight of his boyfriend in his shirt. It was slightly too big for him and fell off his shoulder.
‘Oh right, That’s why.’
“...you are such a weirdo…get in here!”
Simon pulled Xavier into his arms.
Xavier's head laid on Simon's chest as he turned off the flashlight.
As Simon closed his eyes again he felt Xavier kissing his neck.
“You know, if you keep asking me to sleep on you while the others are just feet away, they'll start getting suspicious and ask questions…” Xavier said, softly by Simon's ear.
“Maybe…But maybe I want them to know?..” Simon mumbled back, he held his breath as Xavier lifted his head up, his eyes wide in surprise.
“Wait really!? Even Maddie?! I thought you said you didn't ever want her to know!?”
“I didn't say I never wanted her to know…”
Simon pouts, making Xavier smile brightly and curl back into his arms.
“Well, how about we tell them Monday?..”
Simon sighed in relief, it gave him two days to mentally prepare.
“Alright, Monday.”
Simon closed his eyes again and welcomed sleep but Xavier kept kissing his jaw and neck.
“go to sleep.”
“But-”
“If you go to sleep I'll make waffles when I wake up.”
“with whipped cream on them?”
Simon smiles softly at Xavier' words as he holds Xavier closer.
“With whipped cream on them…now sleep, my sugar obsessed man.”
_____
By the time Simon woke up a second time it was one in the afternoon and he woke up too giggling, as he opened his eyes and saw the girls over him, Nicole holding her phone while she and Claire smirked.
Maddie stood behind Claire and Nicole, looking amused while Wally was still snoring.
“Shit…” he groans, though he doesn't let go of Xavier who was still asleep and drooling on Simon's chest.
‘There goes telling them Monday…’
Xavier lifted his head, waking up but still half asleep.
“Do I still get my waffles?”
