Following the aftermath of Cal's abrupt departure, Nate wrestles with how to take control of his life and contend with his future. Laurie won't let Rue forget what she owes her, while slowly, a string of dead men unravels in the surrounding LA area.
Takes place during the latter half of S2 of Euphoria, following the events of S2E4, "You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can". Loosely follows the timeline and general structure of the proceeding episodes, with the Criminal Minds cast and new plotpoints added for zest and verve. Also a fix-it fic of sorts because Sam Levinson did not make the best use of his airtime for plot.

Because Robby is sweet, and an omega kid, all of Shannon's boyfriends were nice to him but they all eventually left and Robby practiced loving and letting go of his father figures, again and again.Johnny? He doesn't want his kid to let him go.
There's also this one guy who is almost preserved in amber in Robby’s head:

the one Robby couldn’t quite let go of.As a little kid, Robby orbited his moms boyfriends. he hovered in kitchens and garages and beside couches. Asked quiet questions. Followed people around. Memorized them carefully. Loved them in these small, undemanding ways that made adults soften before they even realized it was happening.
And now he’s doing it again as a teenager almost without meaning to.
because the one father figure robby couldn't quite let go of is back.and johnny? he doesn't love the way robby is shadowing another when johnny is already robby's dad.
