   Summary

   When Henry does not return from an errand to Kuttenberg, Hans sets out determinedly from the Devil's Den to find him. Loathe as he is to ask Sam for help, Hans has to admit he'll need someone who knows the city. As they search together, Hans and Sam, joined eventually by Katherine, uncover a strange mystery bloodier than they could have imagined.
