Summary
Satoru swaggers in. Wearing his usual clothing. His blindfold. He pulls it off, and she stares at his eyes, those big blue eyes he has, the size of the moon. Those eyes that see everything, but always seem to miss her. She imagines their eyes, pressed against each other, brown irises against blue, an image so uncomfortable that it makes her itch–put the blindfold back on, she thinks. She burns beneath his cool gaze.
“Shoko,” He calls out. “Are you trying to kill me?”
“Maybe,” She calls back, attempting to make herself sound normal.
