1.

Riki is walking to class with Jungwon when a boy comes rushing down the hall. He skids to a halt upon noticing the two; shoving two textbooks into Riki's hands.

“Sunghoon’s boyfriend right? Can you give him these for me? I’m late for class.”

The boy is running towards class again before Riki can respond, leaving the blonde gaping at him. Looking at Jungwon, he shrugs and continues walking, leaving Riki behind.

Sunghoon’s boyfriend? Where did that idea come from? Is it because they’re always together? Well Riki shouldn’t dwell on it anymore, so he catches up with Jungwon and continues their chat.

Sunghoon looks at his Chemistry homework over dimension analysis in annoyance. Riki wordlessly takes a look at the paper and writes down the answer. The elder looks at Riki with adoration, leaning down to kiss the blonde’s cheek with a fond grin.

“Thank you, darling.”

Jay looks at the couple with annoyance. “You two are so disgustingly cute, I hate and love it at the same time.” he rolled his eyes.

Riki frowned at his hyungs words, but when he looks up he sees a fond smile on Jay's lips. Sunghoon rolls his eyes and sticks his tongue out toward Jay in mockery, but soon returns to his homework. Riki smiles as he returns to looking at Sunghoon’s homework to silently help him.

Riki leans down to pick up his backpack, but before he could get it, Sunghoon is already swooping down to grab it from Riki’s hold. Riki sighs with a pout toward Sunghoon. He always insists on carrying Riki’s items for him. Sunghoon gives Riki a wink with a smile.

“Thank you, hyung.”

The elder boy circles his hands around Riki’s waist, and leans his weight on Riki as they start to walk across the courtyard. Riki opens a bag of chips, offering Sunghoon some. Sunghoon hums in contentment.

Jay walks towards them before stopping to stare. He sighs and walks away. “You deal with them Jake. I dealt with them all today.” Jay rolled his eyes as Jake and Sunoo looked back towards his retreating figure.

Jake looks up and sighs, having planned to go find Heeseung. Riki can see the amusement coming from Sunghoon as he squeezes his arm tighter around Riki’s waist. Riki smiles and offers more chips to Sunghoon, who leans down to bite it out of the younger's hand.

Jake just walks away without a word, leaving Sunoo to deal with the two by himself.

They’re playing video games. Riki sat between Sunghoon's legs, his back leaning against Sunghoon’s chest, as he beats Heeseung in FIFA. Riki cheers as he wins, sitting up from Sunghoon’s chest.

“Sunghoon tell your boyfriend to stop using cheats.” Heeseung grumbles in annoyance as he hands the controller to a smiling Sunghoon.

Riki protested, “I wasn’t cheating!” He is met with silence from Heeseung. Riki pouts and leans closer to Sunghoon’s chest with a sigh.

“I don’t think you were cheating, baby.” Sunghoons looks directly at Heeseung with a grin, leaning down to kiss Riki’s temple.

Riki’s pout disappears, instead he smiles in contentment, and burrows further into Sunghoon, forgetting Heeseung’s annoyance towards him.

The group all sit at lunch when Sunghoons leans down to grab Riki’s water bottle that had fallen from where he’s sitting next to the younger. Riki smiles down gratefully at Sunghoon, it felt like the sun came down on Sunghoon. He moves closer to Sunghoon, their knees end up touching, Sunghoon’s arm entangling around Riki’s waist.

Riki groans, “My back still hurts from yesterday.” He complains with a pout, rubbing at his back, as if that would help sooth it. Jungwon chokes on his water, some spilling out his mouth onto Sunoo’s lap. The blonde is looking at him in concern.

“Jungwonnie? Are you okay?”

“Riki, we do not need to know about your sex life!” Sunoo looks at the couple in disbelief.

“What are you talking about?” Riki sputters out with a red face.

Sunoo gives Riki and Sunghoon a knowing look as he looks between the two. “You know…”

Riki looks at his friends trying to figure out what he means.

“Riki had practiced acro for 3 hours at the studio yesterday. He forgot to ice his back after, and instead went straight to sleep.” Riki gave an embarrassed smile at Sunghoon’s explanation.

“So that’s why you didn’t answer my text!?” Jake points accusingly at Riki.

“Sorry hyung.” Riki sheepishly smiles towards the elder.

Riki wakes up with a raging fever. His head is hammering, and his body feels as if it’s been hit by a train. He rolls onto his side and curls into himself. Letting out a groan.

“Hoon…”

Riki whines at the absence of Sunghoon. He is always there by Riki’s side, so why isn’t he now? Sunghoon is always there, sitting beside him, holding a cold towel to his head, humming a soft tune. Opening his eyes, Riki expects to see a sleeping Sunghoon, but instead sees Jay frowning down at him.

“I dragged your boyfriend out so he could shower and eat. You two are always so inseparable..geez.”

“He’s not..”

Riki tries to deny Sunghoon being his boyfriend but fails. Why does everyone think they’re dating? A cough interrupts him from his thoughts, making him curl further into himself with the force of the cough. Jay hands Riki a cup of water, who graciously takes a sip from it before falling limp back onto the bed. He feels exhausted, with heavy limbs, he sighs thinking about how he misses Sunghoon’s presence. Riki is sure Sunghoon’s cuddles would fix everything and make his condition 10 times better if he were holding him.

Jay rolls his eyes at Riki, knowing what he’s thinking about. He hands Riki medicine. “Take this medicine, Sunghoon will be back soon.”

Taking the medicine, Riki is out before Jay can say anything else.

7.

Riki can’t take it anymore. He rounds the corner where he heard Sunghoon’s voice coming from and blurts out.

“Why does everything keep thinking we’re dating?”

Sunghoon frowns, a crease forming between his furrowed brows.

“Ki, we’ve been dating for 3 years now.”
Riki gapes at him, his mouth opening and closing in stunned silence. Dark eyes dart around the older face, searching for answers.

“Since when?..”

Sunghoon tilts his toward Riki, mimicking the younger's expression.

“Since our first year of high school.”

“Since our first year of high school?”

Riki’s eyes widen in shock, his arms flying out, blonde strands going awol all over his face. Riki couldn’t contain his surprise.

“Riki, are you joking? This isn’t funny.”

“Why would I joke about this?” Riki frowns towards Sunghoon, “Sunghoon, I’m confused…” he trailed off.

“we never..”

“Never what?”

An adorable blush covers Riki’s face, “We’ve never..” Riki flushes even more in embarrassment, his voice soft and low, “kissed.”

“Oh.”

Sunghoon looks down at his hands rubbing on his legs. Shrugging, “I just thought you weren't ready for kisses yet. That or be comfortable with kissing..” Riki lets out a nervous laugh at Sunghoon's response.

“You thought I wasn’t ready?” Riki lifts his head from the floor, looking up with a small smile. “Of course I would be comfortable kissing you, Sunghoon.” Riki runs his hand through his hair, taming his blonde strands.

Sunghoon’s smiling, but then he frowns again. “Then why?”

“Because I didn’t know we were dating..”

“Oh.”

Sunghoon feels stupid. Did he make up their three years of dating? Was it all in his head this entire time? Then he remembers that Riki said he wants to kiss him.
“Riki, do you want to?”

Riki looks at Sunghoon with his head tilted, he reminds the older of an adorable baby duck.

“Do you want to be my boyfriend?” Sunghoon clarifies for the confused younger.

Sunghoon’s heart is pounding in his chest as he awaits Riki’s answer. “Do you want to be?” Riki looks shyly at Sunghoon as he answers Sunghoon’s question back with his own. Pink dusting his face.

“Riki, I have wanted to be with you since our first meeting.”

“Oh..”

Riki turns redder, Sunghoon grabs Riki’s hand, kissing the back of it softly and gently.

He loves this boy dearly.
